@schlubbythor
This was not my favorite course. I stopped after hole 8 so take that into consideration, but I didn’t want to do more of the same. There’s 9 baskets and probably 18 tee pads, if you could call them that. The biggest difficulty factors were the wind and the fear of massive rollaways. The basket at 5 is straight up not get-able if there’s a decent wind. I could see why other people dislike this course so much.
@frizzleeye
Sorry but the city needs to just donate all the teas on this course to another city, or relocate them to an actual park
@djjavdogg
Horrible. This course would be fun in any other landscape. The amount of weeds, spikes and thorns is too ridiculous to even finish through 5 holes. I wear hiking boots and they still got through and scraped my feet and ankles.
@thefi5h
Fun if you like pulling foxtails out of your shoes more than disc golf.
@antsdub21
The grass is unbearably high even with a spotter you’re going to lose your disks
@amaddalon
Course is wet and muddy. Grass is 3 feet tall. Hard to find discs. Suggest you wait till it drys out a bit and they cut the grass. Watch your throws carefully.
@pegsbowen
Challenging course but the weeds are so high that it makes it difficult to find your disc.
@mberti
Tough course due to the wind, it turns the disc over and pushes it down the hill. The hill is a giant sea of stickers so club down and go over stable to stay safe. Overall fun and challenging for what it is, best to play early before the heat and wind pick up
@wolfdavidwolf
Fairway recently mowed. Course is a lot of fun but lacks variety. Great panoramic view of Antioch, especially at sunset. Open lines. Wind and roll aways are the main battles. Bring a spotter to help you find your disc on hole 7’s bomb!
@s24man
Don’t bring any discs you are attached to. We spent as much time hunting for lost discs as we did throwing. Gopher holes are massive and grass is high.
@frizbiotch
Muddy from the fog, wind, big holes in the ground. Tall grass makes it easy to lose a disc.
@aaronbb
Cool open course with some huuuuge bomber throws where you can really just air out your plastic. Good signage but lacking "next tee" direction (udisk is a must). No tunnel or low ceiling shots but lots of challenging landing angles to negotiate to keep rollaways from happening. Now let's talk about the wind. Holy smokes. Bring your most overstable plastic to even have a fighting chance against it. Overall good course, very challenging when the wind is up. (Reviewed after 1st round played)
@evanc27
Solid course with nice elevation shots. Watch out for snakes. Had a run in with a rattle snake last time I was there.
@jeremylagge
So since the Eagle 18 update I think this course has everything a person could ask for. I think the wind and elevation changes are the fun of this course as there are not many other obstacles but there is always plenty of wind and I always end up with the more roll always than I would like to admit. Oh and on top of all of this the course is almost always empty!
@jameslane
Wind and possible rollaways stand out, grass can get long.
@moejr83
Thanks Troop 153. The new tee layout is fantastic. Great to have a course in the area. The hills provide a challenge but otherwise wide open course. Tough to play when the grass is long.
@stefwd
I enjoy playing here when it's not a windy day. This year most of the sticker weeds are mowed in the fairways and flat areas. On the hills discs have been lost. Several baskets are on side slopes so rollers can be frustrating.
@azollars
Course is wide open but presents challenges unlike any other course in the area - wind elevation changes & angle control to prevent rollaways.
