@mattmastro
I am an avid disc golfer who has played over 80 courses in the last 9 years.. and this one might be my new local favorite. When I started playing seriously back in 2015, living in Southeastern Connecticut we only had a couple courses nearby that were old, unkempt, and not really innovative. It was not uncommon to have to drive a minimum of 45 minutes to get to any decent course. Enter Rob Lemire, and all of a sudden within the last 5 years we have Nichols Field, Salem, Old Saybrook and Killingworth (for those masochistic players out there who don't mind getting high scores and testing their limits). People complaining about Preston Ridge need to slow their roll... come back next year when it gets beat in a little bit and you'll see. The course is brand new, and was miraculously completed in under 6 months. The various views, shot shapes, basket placements, amazing tee pads, mixture of open & wooded holes, and challenging (yet fair) lines all come together for a quintessential New England disc golf experience. Thanks Rob for another job well done!!!
@zakardian
Anyone saying this course is unkept and full of thorns clearly doesn’t understand New England Disc Golf. For a BRAND NEW course, it’s already amazing! Trampling on it and beating it in will make it even more incredible and beautiful. I’m looking forward to seeing that. And those after round drinks are a great touch. Really great course, on a really great property, at a really great price. Ignore the trolls, it’s a must play!
@elarsen11
Absolutely incredible course. Once it gets more foot traffic and the fairways more established this will be a top disc golf destination in Connecticut. It is easily one of my Top 5 favorite courses. I highly recommend!

This course is incredibly slept on. Instantly one of my favorite courses I’ve ever played. The scenery, the thematic elements, and the journey this course takes you on is truly unique.
@mcslims
Spent 20 minutes looking for a disc inside C1 on 3 separate occasions. Lost a disc that I thought I knew exactly where it landed.
@dabagger
Not a fan of the 4 vineyard holes. While visually cool, they are literally penalizing anyone who can't throw far. The rest of the course was very fun, albeit a little OB happy. Lots of unique hole designs and great use of elevation. The rough is still very rough here, hopefully this will resolve over time.
@szhou1204
I’d rate this course a 4.25/5. Holes 1-4 and 18 play totally different than holes 5-17. Love the spacious tee pads but signage could use some more work. 5-17 played very tough. Fair lines but very punishing if you shanked a shot or got a bad kick. Some of the paths up/down were extremely sketchy and could use steps or a guide rope.
@jimmygunz
This brand new course is an absolute gem. It is easily my new favorite course in the state. The scenery, shot shapes and course design are splendiferous. Even new or intermediate players will have success with the right shot shapes. The wine tasting room on site is a huge plus. They also carry locally brewed beers. Overall a great experience.
@natedogg99
Absolutely amazing course! Lots of elevation change. Amazing par 4’s in the woods and great views!
@discgolfphoenix
Great addition to the CT DG landscape. Beautiful property with 2 layouts (shorts and longs). Tight and challenging lines. Beware of much OB. NOT cart friendly.
@zacharysmithh
Beautiful course! The tee pads are really nice, great views, some interesting lines, and a bunch of interesting pin placements. Be prepared for a hike!
@awlogue
This course is an excellent addition to the South Eastern CT region. It brings woods golf to a very accessible level on the white layout, while still providing a challenge on blues. Can't wait to see the course continue to be cleaned up and grow!
@martinabeshaus
Ive played 100s off courses. This one was the most challenging. Be in shape to play. Lots of hiking up and down cliffs. Narrow windows means lots of looking for discs. I did like it!!
@jayvee
The course is great, tough yet fair with lots of room to grow. Some of the best views I’ve seen on a disc golf course That said don’t expect to get this course done in a timely manner… crazy long and difficult hikes between holes to the point it feels like disc golf is an afterthought and you just want to get back to the vineyard…
@bsmall8
Great design and a great hike 3+ miles. Will improve as it beats in. Be prepared to spend time looking for your discs. Good mix of forehand and backhand - a few potential ace runs. The two holes over the vineyard are very challenging. Worth a trip. Thanks Rob!
@jimrose521
Another great Rob LeMire course! Lots of variety, great tee pads and fun shots. But be prepared for a big hike and some tough shots.
@bml1014
Rob did a fantastic job with this one. Once it gets beat in more it will be a standout in the state. Signage is pretty good and the course is easy to follow if you pay attention to the udisc map. The elevated teepads take some getting used to but the course overall is well designed and challenging.
@joneshyzer
Beautiful course! Elevation makes for a hike, but also makes the course and shot design fun. Must play!
@wigglebeewoo
This course is a hidden gem. It’s gorgeous and a must play if you’re in the area
@datamonster
I’m not surprised another southeast CT disc golf course is this bad… ledges, thorn bushes and no lines. I’m sure the insurance company would like to see the raised tee pads a foot or two off the ground, worked well for Salem… Please get an actual designer to fix this disaster
