I think this course had a real opportunity to attract new players to the sport considering the airmen’s dorms are next to the course but I would not recommend this course to a new player. Lots of longer par 3s. If you can’t throw at least 370+ accurately, then this course isn’t for you. The tee signs are annoyingly placed at the back right of the tee pads so they are slightly in your way depending on your run up. Tee signs don’t show pin placements. If I want to play a course that rewards me for throwing far and accurately, I’m just gonna go play Clapp or Oak instead. Those courses are more fun. Wichita already has so many courses. What this course could’ve been was a mids/putters only with 250 ft max holes for airmen to be introduced to the sport or to get a quick round in between work breaks. Other than the tournament coming up, I don’t see myself playing this course again. Also, I know the description says “woodsy” but that is wildly innacurate unless you consider throwing around a few trees woodsy. And quite frankly, it’s just a boring course.

Signs are on the back of the trepad but other than that it was really fun!
@temzzie
Course design is fine. Lots of Prarie grass that gets in your shoes poking you every hole. Quite frustrating.

Fun course. Easy to find discs usually. Mostly par 3s, but trees are used well to force different types of shots. Tees and baskets are well marked and easy to find with UDisc. There is parking right next to hole 1 tee/18 finish.

Starter sets available for new players at the Dorm Managers office

Overall, a nice challenging course - have to pay attention to OBs …. Easy to navigate, nice tee pads and baskets
@spdyer
Good course overall. Some long par 3s and some holes with character. If you come on the weekend, enter through the gate off Rock Rd and then use UDisc to get you to hole 1.
@natforrider
Mostly open course but still a fun layout. It has nice teepads, signs and baskets with flags for wind. Easy to navigate this course.
@classicheeto
Great variety of challenging par 3’s and some ace run holes but also a couple fun par 4’s. Definitely makes you want to come back for more.
@b3llylint
Great layout and great execution of use of the land, has open shots and challenging longer distance holes.
