I hate courses like this on paper, BUT they executed a prairie style course the best I have ever seen. Backhand, forehand, turnover, bomber shots, putter shots you name it they got it. Instead of cutting trees down or avoiding them, they put them plumb in the middle of the fairways and used them as obstacles. What a treat. Definitely worth the 6 hr drive to play this course. Only critique but it is advertised is no tee pad on hole 14. Also getting some sort of signage would be a nice touch.

Great course. Good use of hazard grass and mature trees to create challenges

@tclink
Decent layout on an open landscape. Good cement tee pads. No tee signs yet. Nice use of hazard grass.

Without the hazard that occupies every hole this wouldn’t be that bad of a place to play. The overall design isn’t bad but having OB or hazard on every hole to try and make it more challenging is going to turn ppl away from playing here. 40’ mowed fairways is just an unrealistic way to play disc golf. The challenge of this course really comes from the Kansas wind and the natural course layout. On a plus side, the office at the lake offers discs to whoever might need them to play a round.

It was homely nice! Very windy day!

Needs tee pads

Fun course. Front 7 have tight fairways defined by tall grass. The back 10 or so require some good distance to score. Can be tricky with wind as it's pretty open overall. No tee pads yet, look for yellow or pink flags to make tee area.
