Best if you take a picture of the map. Signage is pretty confusing. The posts aren’t next to the pads like normal. Lots of obstructions blocking pads so you can’t get a good drive. Some pads are in the wooded area. Could be better maintained.
@jonathanthomp
Lost my newborn son in the fairway, the grass was so long. My wife is angry and wants a divorce. Worst of all I lost my fairway driver.
@therealcvc
The tee signs are useless, using UDisc is the best way to find your way around the course. Overall a fun course! Very thick rough so if you’re not hitting fairways, it’s very possible to lose your disc
@bckcntryskr
This is a very nice place. I enjoyed getting some scoring opportunities and the flow.
@jonahvswhale
Great course. Goes through the woods, but no holes are especially tree-y. Fairly easy to walk even through the woods. Overall,great course.
@jflaher
Don’t play after any moisture. Tricky curves, close wood, and long pars for an amateur. Beginners might not find it fun. Signage a bit damaged but UDisc is accurate
@proboller86
I didn't really know as of 7:13 it is flooded on whole 11 and the mosquitoes are horrendous
@blakesterrrr
Some signs have paint stripped away, so Udisc would be necessary to locate baskets. Hole 14's basket is leaning really bad.
@henschenm
Hidden gem of Nebraska, just needs consistent maintenance
@xavierfiala
Please take care of this course. I love it but you refuse to clean up down trees or even mow unless there’s a race there
@bouwens
This course has potential to be really really good needs a little management and course design signs are a little iffy number 15 amateur keypad is overgrown
@tonezc
Watch out for a deer carcass in the fairway of 7. Needs better upkeep in the rough.
@jgrass35
They need to update the signage and make some of the tees that are in heavier tree areas more playable. The amateur tee on hole 15 is unplayable. And there’s been a huge branch on hole 8 for a long time that no one has bothered to move
@bschuman3
It had been a couple years since I last made it out here, but man, what an under appreciated gem of a course. The fairways, at least for the am (orange) pads are really well kept, and while the rough off to the sides is generally tall, it really rewards accurate golf. If Plum Creek got half the love, effort, and attention of Beal, it’d be a hidden diamond. I’d love to see it used more!
@ilewis
Course is fun, but sometimes messy. It has some really great potential. Some bomber holes and some tight lines and plenty of shot-shaping potential. If some holes in the treed area were cleaned up and mowed, this could be one of the best courses in the area. Really hoping to see this course get some love from the city in the future as it could be one of my favorites if maintained.
@xxepicgolfer66
Micah actually shot +12 but he lied. nathan kieser shot -13 for real. ‘sko dogs
@danimalg
It has been a while since I played this course, so what I write is not necessarily up to date. However, when I've been there, it has been a hit or miss experience. If it has been dry for a while and earlier spring or later fall, it is actually a relatively wonderful course. Tee signage was not the best (in some cases almost gone), and several pro tees were not there. However, with UDisc, it works to follow the course. Great mixture of open and wooded holes. Well worth the drive when it is a hit. During summer, it can be a real bear, and likely more of a miss. And, it seems, if any rain has occurred recently, it becomes more of a miss. Becomes difficult to play some holes without getting wet. They had at least one alt. tee for this reason, but one misses out on an interesting wooded hole.
@andrewc19311
The fairway on a few alternate tees need work due to branches, and the pro/am signage is confusing in a few places. When mowed, all the holes offer good challenges and are fun to play.
