@discfinder
Hard to review when I lose a disc. Area around 7 was not mowed. Good potential. And yes , risk v reward
@jarrett86
Very beautiful scenery. Very cool course layout. Yes, water hazards are there. Makes it interesting. Makes you pay attention and know or trust your shots. Was alot of fun today with kiddo. Made me learn some different approaches. Hole 7 was atrocious and needs mowed. Understandable that it was probably flooded so they couldn't. Please go back and mow it or weed whip it down a bit. Still very fun. Needs a path to cross back over instead of walking all the way back around towards T 4. Otherwise we will be back! Bugs we Very toned down. Had no issue today.
@noahmans
Beautiful course. Overgrown trees over fairways and standing water. Spotters are needed and careful with water going through course. Fun little course
@kindervater
Beautiful course. Scenery is great and fairways are great. Almost all very short holes, but still very fun to play. Having a spotter is a good idea, though cause if you’re in the rough, you’ll have a hard time finding your disc. Little bit of flooding but that’s what you’ll find at any course with water right now.
@argemiro
First time playing this course and I absolutely Loved it! Yes there's long grass and plenty of water but that's what makes this a spectacular little course to sharpen your skills. Choosing the right disc to throw and "placement" throws is definitely important. Beautiful property with definitive and well cared for fairways! Thank-you Independence, MN!
@gloper13
This short course plays along and across a meandering stream and stagnant pond. Expect to either lose discs, get wet or both. While I appreciate that Independence offers this cours, there are much better courses available in the Twin Cities.
@clapper
Beautiful property but the design is awful. Could be a great course with some work
@johnbleez
Too short. Too weedy off fairways. Bad layout. Lots of overlapping and creek is too much of a factor on hole 7.
@brianphillips
Beautiful property, course so so.. hole doglegs hard right and basket is next to 2s tee, basket 3 and 9 are close together I threw at the wrong one of the pad.. then you walk down 9s fairway all the way to turn right to get to 4s tee. Water is currently high here as well.. bridge to 6 underwater, and near 5s tee pad, why hole 8 underwater, and when you finish you have to walk backwards to get to the one bridge that's underwater???? Why horrible design But Beautiful property
@mattjonasen
This is actually a really fun little course. I haven’t come across too many courses where I’m worried about losing a disc every hole. But I think that was a good thing. Bring a disc retriever for sure. There is a plank between 7 & 8 or you can go back over the bridge and around.
@icemasterweiss
6' tee pads plus terrible design make this barely a 2 star. There is promise in the property, but not how it is used.
@zachwulftange
Keep your disc on the fairway otherwise it will disappear
@jessiearmstrong
Maps to get to the course takes you through someone's yard, lots of backtracking and crossing over other holes to reach the sequential next hole
@thyvlads
great tricky course. play smart, creek can suck up disks with thick brush and water traps surrounding the middle holes
@luchlas
Play in the winter time. There’s just a lot of water and waist high grass that makes it hard to play. Winter would be easier.
@mhei0324
This is a cool course. It may only be 9 holes but the scenery is great. You play through a peninsula that leads out to a large swampland. It's not the most challenging or technical, but it's definitely unique. Anyone complaining about it just has too high of expectations for a 9 hole course.
@austinlien14
This is a really beautiful property but the course is really poorly designed. Skip it and take a walk instead.
@paaschr
Fun little course for a putter only round. Would love to see this course reimagined. It has potential but needs to be completely redone.
@terrag7892
Dangerous course as you're constantly throwing at tee boxes for other holes, and walking down fairways for other holes or holes you just played. Creek is flooded onto hole 7 fairway & has standing water. Huge potential for a great 9-hole course with a good redesign.
