Hornet nest on 14 needs to be cleared. Insane amount of poison oak. OB water on 4 is not clearly marked and is invisible until you’re in c2. Questionable layout choices: long walks between holes, doubling back up the fairway you just played, the rough has little to no maintenance. It’s a shame, the course has lots of potential. There’s no way it’s a 4+ star course like other reviews suggest. Go play delaveaga and ryan ranch if you’re in the area instead. All that said, there are some nice shots and fun can be had here, but know that the course needs a lot of work.
@borser1
What a stellar course! Mix of open and technical shots with good shot variety and multiple basket options at each hole. Course was well designed and well maintained and had some great views throughout. My only complaint is having to watch out for pedestrians walking the trails many of which are right by the course. Besides that it’s an easy 5 star course.
@ogjay01
Really nice course. Good signage and tee areas. Middle holes wide open. Play all the (a) & (b) holes cuz there’s a bit of a walk between a few holes. Water hazards not an issue. Look for walkers on some holes.
@rliu721
Great track, takes a bit of time getting between the open and wooded sections of the course but a nice mix of scorable holes
@samweisgamgee
Great disc golf course, just covered in poison oak.
@baileybrown15
Must play course!
@ducks304
Idk course mowing schedule but all of course overgrown, poor signage if you've never been. Better use UDisc!!!
@mburns22
Very solid course. Lacks whole variety. open holes. All backhand Hyzers. Tight holes all back and turnovers.
@halfmoonslayer
Hidden gem and certainly worth the drive if you are from out of town. Lots of variety, beautiful California hidden valley scenery, only draw back is the mind blowing amount of posion oak on about half the holes.
@juugtos
Huge fan of this course. Beautiful. A little too long for me to score well.
@conorbauman
Poison oak is very grown in this year. If you kick off the fairway on certain holes expect that that disc is gone forever. The fairways themselves are very well maintained credit to the club volunteers.
@bogeyjoey
Holes 1 - 4 are great: different lengths, shot shapes, and technical. 5 - 13 are out in a field that require pretty much the same shot over and over. The OB does make you have accuracy, but it gets old after four holes. 14 - 18 are short, yet unique. LOTS of poison oak everywhere!
@ada619
Course could use a good once over with the mower for the open fairway shots, overall challenging and fun course
@benpalm
This course continues to receive improvements! It’s a great course with a lot of fun, challenging shots! Definitely pay attention to the signs to make sure you are heading the right way. A few more signs to make way finding clearer would be good. Definitely a treat to get to live so close to this amazing course!
@mnmarquess
Good mix of different hole types and several awesome holes. Some wooded holes and some open holes, however the open holes have out of bounds down the sides so they play tighter than they look. Some holes have two basket locations. Longer basket locations make for a tough course. Wind can make it tough. Definitely worth a drive to play.
@nerosdad
Wow! Hot take: best overall course in Nor Cal. Great mix of bombers and wooded courses. Sweet lines. Bring water and an umbrella for the middle 9.
@dococh19
I love Pinto. It is a gem of a course and less busy than Dela by far. Make sure to be courteous of pedestrians.
