Strange course design. A bunch of ~200’ par 3’s with absolutely no line to the basket. Par 4’s where all you do is throw a 200’ shot off the tee then chip up to the pin. Overall a very boring course for all the hype it received the past few years. Probably won’t be back.

Disappointing! Yes, it’s new- but we waited 3+ years for a “tournament level” course.. this is not at all. It needs more than a haircut. The layout is haphazard and lazy. Not at all appropriate for the average player (a frustrating, slow, circus of bugs and searching for discs). The accomplished player will be scratching their head for the lack of discernible lines, questioning the combination of short, donkey par 3’s combined with unobtainable 4’s and 5’s. We want difficulty but it also has to be achievable. Overall, a frustrating lack of foresight. It’s not a good course for those under a 900 rating and does not have the length and accessibility for players over 900.

For now, 3 stars. The course is super challenging and the problems it offers are unique. After speaking to staff, they do have trees and such marked for removal but couldn’t get it done before the unveiling. This course is going to get massaged in to an excellent woods course that the area needs to compliment Wannamaker.

TERRIBLE DESIGN. Better off scrapping it and starting over.

Truly awful. The only reason this isn't zero stars is because the baskets and tee pads are very nice. Its everything in between that is uniquely terrible. Won't play here again until a significant re-design.

UPDATE (2 to 3 stars): I went again with fresh eyes and enjoyed this course more than the first time I played. It’s a very technical course with trees every direction you turn… do I think it’s a great course, no. Far from it. But it has potential if they will cut a decent amount of the trees down to give people a fighting chance to make par. Original Review: The entire course is built on wetlands. Every single hole is surrounded by trees. It lacks variety.

Lots of time and effort went into building this course, it shows. But the design... is questionable. The course will be better after a reworking of some holes.

Will get better the more they open up the fairways and take trees out.

Effectively Wanamaker pre redesign. Holes 3, 7, and 18 all need to be changed. Clean up a majority of the rest a little and I think it’ll be good

It’s heavily wooded, technical, very challenging. But it’s also brand new, and there are trees marked for removal. There are currently (Labor Day 2025) lots of walkers also present on the disc golf course. I hope and assume better signage for other park goers is coming. Good course and lovely park for the family. Manage your disc golf frustrations and it’ll be a fun, challenging course.

tees are a tad short but good overall, one tee has a good amount of water around it making it hard to do anything besides a step and throw but overall good, well maintained course

This course is very technical and difficult. It was designed to be that way. Hole 11 was brutal. It beat me up pretty bad, but I like woods golf and will be back.

Course has lots of potential. Lots of flukey fairways, but I’ve also played once so maybe haven’t learned the lines yet. In general I think if the fairways are opened up a bit more to give clear lines it could be great. Currently just a worse version of Wanamaker imo

This is a new course so I know they are actively taking feedback from players but there is a lot of work to be done to make it playable for all levels of players. Incredibly muddy and technical with trees all over the course making par seem near impossible.

Similar to Wannamaker but different in a few ways: -Tighter gaps -Higher number of flukey shots -More par 4s & 5s -The par 4s & 5s are more demanding -The par 3s are shorter -Less elevation change and swampier Overall I'm glad to have another wooded course to practice gap hitting and scrambling, but if I had designed it, I would've tried to make it longer with wider, fairer fairways.

If you are a woods golfer, this is a new fav course for sure! Lots of cool holes and variety of hole difficulties. Also some nice views (but make sure to bring bug spray in the summer!!)
