@brojoh
Lots of trees technical front nine. Fairly similar short shots. Back nine opens up to empty fields. Not that exciting but a nice beginner course
@hyperxhyper
The woods are dense, and the beach is wide open. Fun if you’re in the area!
@tseliot
First 11 holes are in the woods and very technical. Next 7 are out on the beach and a few are just straight shots (12-14 are meh). Hole 11 is the hardest par 3 I've ever played.
@jumpinjongee
Very nice baskets. Great signage. First 12 holes are very tight and short. Last few holes are out in the open but all the same general distance. Lacks variety and doesn't really feel like a disc golf course. But I love seeing courses popping up in smaller municipalities. Worth playing with some friends if you're hanging out around the lake.
@stashko
Short technical holes from 1-12, some longer holes on the back 9. Great for short game play. Use map to find starting points.
@kxngtearful
This is a 3.5 or 4 star course, but I am leaving it at 3 stars for two reasons 1) the signage just really aren’t all that helpful for wayfinding, they just aren’t oriented properly to actual point you in the right direction and you’ll have to guess a lot. Of course once you know the course (played it once or twice) this is more or less a non-issue, but it still seriously hampers the first experiences and is worth noting. Reason 2) is the tees. To begin, there are no real tee surfaces, no cement, no turf, almost nothing, besides some slightly worn in dirt path area you can tell people have trod, these tee “areas” aren’t even level most of the time, and at least one of them could be considered “muddy” and I definitely slipped despite it not being wet outside. There is almost nothing to visibly discern the tees either, for many of the wooded holes the tees are little tree stumps cut at an angle and spray painted orange, on the open beach holes they are little logs sunk into the ground and spray painted orange. These and the wooded ones are often hard to find, particularly considering that a lot of them literally only have one log, so you can’t even tell where the line actually ends, but this is made even worse by the fact that the signs for each hole aren’t even placed at or with the tees, often times the actual tees (marked by those spray painted stumps) are several feet (if not many many feet on hole 9) further down than the signs. So when you get to a sign, you aren’t even always at the actual tee, that’s really poor course design and leads to much confusion. Especially in the winter as the stumps will be covered by snow, thus the only thing you have to go off of is the sign. This is further compounded by the fact that the UDisc layout isn’t always accurate in this regard, the layout is from 2022, and it seems some tees and signs have changed since then as some tees appear on UDisc as starting at the sign and not at the actual tees. Besides this tho, the course is tons of fun to play, I actually like the shorter holes, they require a good deal of precision and you have just as much chances of parring by playing short as by overshooting and having to come back, but if your precise with your shot placement, you’ll be rewarded with several solid chances at birdies. And experienced players can get some awesome aces if they can master their approach. The beach holes are indeed a tad open and repetitive, but they are quite welcome after 11 or so holes of super right cramp technical wood shots, it’s the perfect build up to wanting to just let off some steam and absolutely bomb some drives. I think a few more OB’s or Mando’s, like on 16, or a shot into or out from the woods, should be introduced to actually distinguish each hole from one another besides the distance from tee to basket. Making the back nine a bit more varied would really improve it overall and could bring it to a solid 4.5 or 5 star course
@gerlywich
Not really any good lines for for a lot of the holes on the front 9. The signage is good on the front 9 but Udisc may be needed for wayfinding on the back 9. Overall still a very fun course!
@chrissnyder07
Some holes don’t really have actual disc golf lines and then the back 9 doesn’t have much variety! There was a few great holes though such as 9.
@robinl
Very fun. If the first few holes were just 25-50% longer, this would be an excellent course. Right now it’s just good.
@cleangreens
Rhbh on most of the first 12 then wide open field shots
@calebdavisson
Our favorite course. Fun holes for beginners and beautiful scenery!
@krparke
Lots of wood shots, but they are mostly similar lines (until you get off the fairway, which is pretty tight) the open beach holes were alright. Worth stopping on your way through.
@ace4497
Tight wooded first 11 very fun, few open holes on the back 9 kinda boring.
@stelousrufio
Great course for varying skill levels. If you need to practice your short shots, you get a lot of that and also some distance throwing as well. My only thought is why is hole 18 marked par 4 on site and on disc par 3? Perhaps hole 9 should be par 4 and 18 be par 3? Thoughts?
@kosbak
Front nine in the woods is a little technical although fairly short. The back nine need some posts or something with a number to mark the location, and possibly obstacles or mandos to change the shots a little. For a new course it’s decent.
@bodee1
Putters & mids.
@epalsma
For the winter, some markings on the trees where the tee pads are would be helpful. But a great course for working on all the shots. And playable in the winter! Hole 9 needs to be updated, either tee pad moved, sign changed, or made into a par 4.
@dbchainbanger
Smaller holes, but technical to compensate with a final third of the course longer more open shots. Great signage. Fun course for beginner or more experienced players.
