A little trashy near some tees, lots of potential rollaways as mentioned in previous reviews. I wouldn’t play this course at dusk if it’s your first time playing, it’s too easy to lose a disc on a rollaway, especially with the tall light colored grass. Really nice views at the top!
@discrabbit
Unique and worth a play
@yeahbrad
Honestly the best I could hope for from hollister. Definitely wish there were more courses here, but pretty good for a 9 hole course. And close to down town! Better than I expected.
@baysquatch
Post “caution flying discs” signs so people know what they are walking into
@borser1
Well maintained and clearly marked but didn’t enjoy playing on the course due to technical holes. Because it’s on a large hill any miscalculated throw causes discs to careen down steep slopes into roads or areas really difficult to recover discs.
@satanandme
Bring water and get ready to see most of your shots roll down hill. Not a whole lot of variety here, but I guess that's the challenge of it. Overall, not a bad course.
@benpalm
This course has been given a lot of love by the community around it. I can tell there’s been a lot of work done to make this course. However, every tee shot except hole 5 has a huge rollaway potential, which makes it a rough course for a beginner and a heart pounding experience for an intermediate player. Good job to the team for fitting a course here, but it’s not a great spot for a course.

Watch your nose angle and stable up! At least when the winds are present. Great challenge and a great place to practice windy play.
@jimmyjam123
This course is challenging. It has great elevation changes to help give a nice workout. The park name Vista Hill Park if you want to find the parking lot. Otherwise you can street park near the Hollister Community Center and climb WAY up the steep hill.
@fisherr
Follow the arrows on the baskets. Road is threatening, but not that close. Very fun course, well made. Absolutely beautiful from 6-7pm.
@johntmarshall17
The elevation change and roll-away potential makes for a nice challenge without being too technical. Most holes now have rubber tee pads and hole maps and you can tell the local club is working hard to make this as nice as possible. There are a few areas where you need to be careful of broken glass but all things considered this is a nice course for beginner and intermediate level golfers looking to get a quick round in.
@hollisterdoc
Nicely cleared by the San Benito Disc Gold Club. Maybe I can help next time! A bit windy at 3pm. What was I thinking?!
@malcal080
Beautiful views of the city at this course! The wind was a huge factor and I can imagine it would be very challenging for newer players. The tee pads would be hard to find if you didn’t have this app and haven’t played the course before.
@gtalavera1979
Great course to play after work. The afternoon breeze makes this course formidable. Keeps you working towards honing your skills. Very easy layout with good signage. Love the addition of the trees and new basket placements on 8 and 9🤙🏾
@nathanaeld
Beautiful course. Has dried out a bit from yesterday’s rain. High risk of losing discs or having long rolls if your throw gets just a bit wild. My son skunked me by 3 strokes getting 2 under. Great work in progress as I understand it has only been open for 1 week. Will deserve better rating when Tee signs are added
