Don't play 27 hole layout. Needs some TLC!
@mjchelbe4549
LOVE IT!! I'm so grateful that there's two courses of this caliber in our area. Whoever is responsible for bringing disc golf to palmyra, thank you. (Bring BUG SPRAY. I also found no less than 5 wood ticks on my legs after the round)
@dkurten001
Great course, fun shot variety...the mosquitoes owned it today!
@schrieber5
Lotta skeeters but a great track
@missedputtz
27-hole layout is super fun with excellent variety. Most of the 9 new holes are super tight and technical. The original 18 are generally a little cleaner and more polished with better defined lines. However, this layout will benefit greatly from these newest holes getting cleaned up with more use. Also the biggest room for improvement is concrete teepads for the newest 9 holes. So far the tee areas are just a patches of unleveled dirt and the vast majority of them are incredibly lumpy or sloped. I was forced to throw standstill on nearly all of them. I played in late winter and this layout is pretty scorable with low chance of losing a disc, but there are rampant thorns everywhere and I would guess it can be much harder to find discs in late spring or summer. I would 100% travel from out of town to play again!
@cooter325
Technical course on most hole. Then a few long bomber holes. Without UDisc I would have been lost. Long walk between 9 and 10. I think there is couple new holes in there to fill the gap now.
@deadgold
Little muddy right now
@mad1107
If maintained and fixed some benches and walking areas and trimmed and made actual lines for the course it could be amazing. So sad to see a course that could be amazing and it just sitting there being ran down.
@sven1965
Terrible! Overgrown, poor and missing signage. 1/5. Avoid at all cost. Play the black course.
@cade1397
If Harmony Bends and a cornfield had a baby, it would be this course. Nice variety of shot shapes, however there are a few poke and hope holes, and the last 3 holes are dusty from the gravel road.
@forgiven
This is a great course one of the best that I’ve gone to. It’s not super difficult, though a great course for those wanting to start out playing wooden courses.
@kjjohns1
Great course. Enjoyed the forested areas, only a few open spots!
@noahfree
I’m a big fan of this course and everything they’re doing out there. Palmyra Orange is a great mix of wooded and open holes with the majority being wooded—always a nice challenge as it requires distance, shot-shaping, and gap-hitting. If I were to change things here it would be to 1) take out some trees on the more dense wooded holes to open up more lines, and 2) add length to a couple of the wooded par 3s. It seems like all the par 3s in the woods are all 200-300 feet.
@anthonypasek
Fun and challenging with a mix of open and woods. Tall Corn fields are a unique element for sure. Update March 2025: Full 27-hole layout is a great upgrade! Several good wooded holes add to the excellence of this course.
@tim314
This is one of my favorite courses in the area. They are adding 9 more holes and additional basket settings on others. 14 will have a longer, but forehand friendly setting. I played the proposed test holes of 17.1 and 17.6 which in the end will be a 6 hole loop in the woods east of the field that botders the fairway of basket 18. In the end I believe it will be a very fun technical addition to this course. I am looking forward to playing the end result.
@jamesreichert
A brand new course to the area! This course is an excellent compliment to the other course on this property. Tight and technical gaps with a few long bomber holes on the front and back of the course. Nothing like it in the area!
