About the course

Whether you are coming for a spiritual or a disc golf retreat, relish in the beauty and serenity of Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center! New players and those looking for a leisurely round can appreciate the simplicity of Red tees; relatively short and straightforward, this layout will more readily forgive mistakes and encourage consistency in midrange and putter shots. Once you master the short Red tees, try and tackle the longer Blues! Unlike most 9-holers, this tranquil course can challenge even advanced players with big distance and touch shots. Don't underestimate the woods: while not OB, they will gobble errant throws and leave you with a tough scramble to save par (or worse). Play all 18 lines on our exciting, two-round Purple layout! It's the best of both worlds. Which of your friends will reign supreme? The course is open to the public Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. For weekend play, contact Steve Fracchia at 901-351-9832. Restrooms and water are only available during regular hours. Please bring baggies to clean up after your doggies. This property is primarily a retreat center, so be sure to respect other patrons enjoying the property; avoid playing amplified music. There are currently no tee pads, but we would love to put some in - leave a review on UDisc and make a donation below to fund this into a reality! Donations also help with maintenance fees, so your generosity is greatly appreciated. https://www.shelbygiving.com/App/Form/c3f63bac-64a0-4068-99df-a6404b6a5cef

Good sized 9 hole course with open shots and mix of distances. There are currently no tee pads, it seems like there are plans for some in the future. There were stakes in some places to denote where a tee pad should be and not in others. I assume they’ve been removed for offseason to make maintenance easier, but it is easy enough to figure out with UDisc. Baskets are in very good condition. A few specifics on certain holes are as follows: On hole 2, the basket is tucked back in some taller grass. On hole 5, the basket is behind a small line of trees. On hole 8, there is a small pond roughly 20 feet behind the basket. The facility is absolutely gorgeous and grounds are immaculately maintained. There is access to restrooms and water inside during business hours. It makes for a wonderful place for a course. Overall, this is a young course with lots of potential and room for growth. Look forward to playing this course again as it develops.
