Alton Baker is a well-designed and beautiful course, and especially with the new layout, it’s a fun time. Unfortunately, the new management has increased the greens fee to a frankly insulting $175 / year, and the layouts are changed *constantly* — about twice a month, all the holes are renumbered and the UDisc layouts deleted and recreated from scratch, destroying stats and the layout difficulty rating. They took down the nicely-designed tee signs (I assume because the hole numbers no longer matched) and replaced them with laminated pieces of paper stapled to trees. But now those aren’t remotely accurate either because the layouts have changed multiple times since they went up, and in fact the layout they say to go to on UDisc doesn’t even exist. If you’re going to charge this much for a course, please just put in the bare minimum amount of effort to not mess things up like this.

Needs work but is getting attention. So close to campus it’s a good investment of my time to play.

It has a wide variety of tunnel shots, short and long.

The one directional sign I found pointed you in the wrong direction. Nothing but straight ahead throws. No where near the best course in the city.

Has a lot of potential. Some open and some wooded shots. Can be confusing for people not from the area and UDisc could have more layout options with how many baskets are around the course

Great course! I would add red flags on top of red course and add gold flags on top of gold layout to make it easier to spot holes

Nice little course. Nothing too exciting. Very flat, straight shots, no elevations. Layout requires you to cross fairways frequently. Easily navigable with UDisc. Costs $5 to play.

Great park, confusing course. AltonBaker is scenic but the course laylut is the most confusing one to date. Even the gentleman's provided direction wasn't much help. $5 fee to play a course where not only the next tee pad is a fair distance away but there is no directional signage to the next hole. This cpirse cpuld benwfit from better and more.detailed signage, especially with so many baskets per hole.

they really need to fix the signage issue. with a confusing, overlapping array of holes, proper direction and right-of-way should be priority #1. otherwise, a very fun city park course with nice locals

Great course! Need the app to find tees, but beautiful course. Just make sure you know which baskets you are playing!

I didn’t mind the updated layout. All the par 4s are soft 4s and should be 3s. For the price of memberships, the upkeep should be much better. It’s a good city course.

Everyone was friendly, helpful and having a good time. Wandered around a bit trying to find some of the next tee pads. Good Karma course.

Well kept. Was a little confusing because they were moving around basket locations so distance may be off, but I will give ‘em a pass. The small fee is to support this great project that has revamped this park from a homeless area to a beautiful little course. It’s about a 4.3

This is a great city course for beginners and experienced players alike. The new concessionaire has done amazing work, from mulching, eradicating blackberries, new holes, new pin positions, and adding numbered flags on each basket. You can pay $5 a day or buy different lengths of memberships.

Decent course for the money. Location is the biggest draw.
