@corbinledeboer
Very challenging course with unforgiving rough, but beautiful scenery and fun holes. Definitely worth a play, but be prepared for a difficult round.
@lelkin
Some open holes to start, then mostly wooded holes. Good distance for intermediate levels. Can be tricky for beginners. Lots of good forehand shots if you’re working on those, if not backhand will work too
@gloper13
Featuring ample cement tee pads with excellent tee signs and DGA baskets, Old Settlers rewards long accurate play. Stay in the well defined fairways and scoring is possible; the rough can be punishing and water comes into play on multiple holes. With a great use of elevation this course is both challenging and rewarding. Good footwear is a must with loose dirt and rock common. Easily the equal of more famous nearby courses. I don't understand how this course is not ranked as a top course in Texas on Udisc. Well worth playing.
@discrabbit
Several awesome par 4 holes and dangerous par threes
@cntbg23
Tough technical course with a few open holes in the beginning. Pro level golf with an unforgiving rough.
@roadto501
A little bit wiggly in the elevation. Makes for great challenges, for those into that sort of thing.
@orionh
Very tight, long holes, but they are cleaned up enough to where it's not too unfair.
@xanerwin
Don’t be fooled by the first 4, the final 14 holes are VERY technical. Great test. Quite scenic and some topography changes. The course could use some stairs on 10 and 12.
@nathanalleman
Epic, challenging, fair (mostly), with fantastic variety. A completely underrated course little bit of everything. A few long walks and wayfinding issues. Beautiful tee pads, decent baskets.
@gofarandfast
Nice concrete tees. Tight fairways after first four holes. Creeks weren’t much a problem. Distances are extra long with tight fairways on some par 4’s. Signage after baskets directing to next hole. Some steep sections to walk between tee and basket on a few fairways. Plenty of parking and course is mostly away from hiking paths.
@blazek
Good mix of open and tight technical holes. Most holes are between 250ft and 450ft with a couple of longer holes sprinkled in here and there.
@kasperpieters
In great shape even after all that rain! Basically no mud. Very nice!
@bobbytrees
Clean it up a lil and I'll give it 5. Will be one of best in Austin in a few years.
@ziago80
Great new course in town that requires some skill. My new favorite local spot.
@willthethrill
TRASH!!! Love the course but the Parks department is a joke and is horrible are maintaining the course. Tree limbs still EVERYWHERE IN THE MIDDLE of the fairways. They cut them down and just left them there. It’s been like this for weeks and it still looks like trash
