Oak Stone Farms is a very well maintained course with loads of potential. The course is extremely beginner friendly, which feels intentional by the course owner as this course features SIX par 4 holes that are sub 350’!!! This soft par course will serve well in growing the sport in an area that doesn’t have a lot of disc golf, but won’t keep serious players coming back. (I shot -14 with my off hand and my step father who’s played 5 times in his life shot +1) In the future, I’d suggest implementing a pro par (par 54) layout on Udisc. If this course was anywhere else than Burlington Maine, it would be a par 54. I’d also like to see a pro layout, featuring legit 400-500’ par 4’s, there is plenty of space for it, and I also think there is a missed opportunity not using the large field in the middle of the course for a bomber hole. For the above reasons, Oak Stone Farms gets a solid 4 stars, can’t wait for our next visit next year!

This is my kind of course! One of the best backyard courses I’ve ever played. Definitely worth going out of your way to play. Located on a family farm with super nice owners. Good use of space, good variety of shots with fun shot shapes. Mix if par 3s and 4s with some open and some wooded holes. Some of the baskets are on rocks or walls that give the course some fun character. Very small-town Maine feel. Hole 13 and 14 are in development, so I am excited to come back when they are finished. Thanks for putting in the work to make such a good course, especially in northern Maine that is largely course-bare. 10/10.
