@cygnus6
Wayfinfing was a challenge. uDisc FTW.
@a15sgriggs
This is a nice park, but there is a lot of elevation and there’s nothing spectacular about it.
@baxdiscer62
The main challenge is the elevation which made it fun. White distances are definitely recreational. Signage from basket to next tee could be improved—I needed the app multiple times. Lots of gnats today.
@danielhall3
What more do you want in a course? This is great. A little soft with some open field throwing, but fantastic all around.
@nathanalleman
Given the rampant Udisc course grade inflation, I'm shocked this is only a 4.3. That will change in time now that this battle station is fully operational, particularly as some of the woods holes get beat in and refined. As noted, help with wayfinding is needed. Eg, hole 16 to 17 easy to take the super long path to the left instead of the short one to the right. But seriously, we're all using udisc so tone down the crying about signs. Also, you CAN drag a cart around, but as a cart person myself, i do not recommend it. For those with some skill, the blues are a hoot. Scorable but also punishing, as a good course should be. Well done and congrats to the locals!!
@greghaag2
Anyone who hates on this course, is exactly that, a hater. It’s incredible. I think it’s one to rival Deer Lakes and Moraine. And yes, it’s still a f*****r of a walk 😬
@philrush
The course is in wonderful condition.
@elijahsmith
Such a sweet course! The tee pads are about the best I've ever played on, with ample size and some texture for good traction in all conditions. Good use of elevation and woods, and the MVP Portals are excellent.
@mikelennett
Very nice course! First time playing it. I am glad that I was with someone who knows the course because some of the holes would have taken Udisc to find either the pad or the basket.
@cntbg23
Can’t believe it’s only been a year. Major work done on this one.
@og19011
They really did a great job of building a top course with what they had available. It's got signs, tees and good baskets. There are whiskers for C1 and some navigational whiskers as well. Course uses a lot of artificial OB to create interesting shots, much like some DGPT stops. If anything is keeping it from being elite it's just that half this course is mostly fairway golf. It does feel a bit repetitive but that's a minor complaint on a great course.
@cptfury
It would have two more stars if it was easily navigate a bowl. I found myself getting lost seven times and one time I went pretty far into the woods before I realize that was not the path to going to get the next hole. Very frustrating and not very clear, on which holes to go through for the white tees, I guess if you’re playing from the blues, you have the map set up. I did not have a very good Internet connection with my phone and could not figure out where some of the baskets were. Not fun
@cwilkins88
Nice mix of open and woods with a cool water hole. Well maintained with more signage and full tee boxes coming soon. I’ll be back for sure
@mac333
Great layout. Has a little bit of everything. The new tees will only make it better. Shout out to those involved in upkeep and design.
@spangb
Great set up. Most greens are perfectly placed. Overall a great course. On par with Knob Hill & IUP Lodge. Rank it below Deer Lakes, North Boundary & Moraine. Signage and tee boxes took it up a notch.
@allstar33
Great course for an area that needed one badly. Fairways were kept up great, but the rough snuck up quickly at times. Nice job.
@hoozyer
Played the white for the first time, previously played the blue. Very smart placement.
@absauder
Very exciting to see this course installed in a very large park. Don’t be mislead by the par 56; This has some long holes to rip on. Be prepared for a bit of a hike.
