About the course

Update 5/30/25: Construction of the retention pond has begun on the northside of campus. Basket #14 and the tee marker bricks for #14-17 have been removed until construction concludes and the course is redesigned. Update: We have just added 6 baskets, bringing the total number up to 18 for the course. I have posted a new map. The first tee area/hole has moved, and can now be found on the corner of N Cheyenne St and W 5th St, on the southside of the Frisby Building. Most of the tee areas are marked by white bricks in the ground, however the campus continues to experience heavy construction, including the proposed installation of an irrigation retention pond on the northside of campus that will likely impact the tee areas for #14 and 15. I will work on purchasing signs for the course in the spring of 2025 once construction efforts have (hopefully) concluded. A 18-hole course (as of July 2024) that skirts around the outside edges of the Northwest College campus. Mostly flat and open, with a few lightly wooded holes. Red Dynamic Discs Veteran baskets. Every effort was made when designing the course to avoid cars, buildings and areas of high student traffic. Nevertheless, please look before you throw. This course was constructed with grants provided by the Northwest College Student Senate and the Northwest College Foundation.

Course is fun, slightly technical, and definitely worth playing. The new 18 hole layout is great addition to an already fun course, and beginner friendly with a variety of shots and trouble-free pars.

Really needs signage and wayfinding. Simple straight shots and the last 2 holes might as well be on another planet. Skip them. Needs a 9-hole smart layout to avoid those tacked on holes and needs notes of how to maneuver around buildings between holes.
