Nice manicured course, good variety Wished some of those weed surrounded fairways were a bit wider lol
@elvisguy
A nice walk in the woods with some longer holes and some technical shots. Teepads, baskets and signage was great. Wear pants and bring bug spray at least in the spring. Unfortunately the rough makes it very difficult to locate discs so I would not recommend playing when the grass is high.
@zcjordan
Solid 9 hole course. Pleasantly surprised by the design of each hole. Fairways are nicely kept and very fair but the grass is tall if you go into the rough. Most of the holes are short but still require a good shot due to trees and OB. Tee pads are just rubber pads and were slick due to rain but otherwise relatively okay. One of the nicer 9 hole courses I’ve played

Mow. Mow. Mow the fields. Officially on my boycott list. The course could be 5 star if the tall grass was mowed down to a manageable length. As it stands now, just go to Bergen or Oakfield. You can get there in the time you'll spend looking for discs on hole 1 alone.
@jakeheidman
Fun little course, lots of different shots thrown for only 9 holes. Tee pads are quite poor, a few had standing water while the rest of the course was pretty dry.
@andrewkavanagh
Sneaky fun 9H course - one of the best I’ve ever played. Really nice variety of shot-shaping required and several tight fairways to contend with.
@brianphillips
Tee pads are raised and rubber, and have some bounce in them.. not cool on hole 1 Rest are short rubber Holes 1 and 8 do not mat h the rest of the course Also 9 ends and then there is a nice long walk back.
@startedw165
It’s no fun spending so much time looking for discs. My second trip here so knew what to expect & went in with good attitude. Thin fairways and tall grass sealing discs. So rare that okay disc golf and not enjoy myself at all.
@leodiscgolf
A great beginner course. Tee pads can get very slippery though. Send it!
@brettg
Fun 9 hole with some decent par 4’s. Some risk of losing discs in longs grass. I’d suggest teeing off next to the pads, especially if your shoes are wet. They are very slippery.
@ready4j2c
That is a large and fantastic back lot for disc golf at Northgate. Pretty cool to have a box for lost and found discs too. The hole diagram signs were especially well done, and they even show where is the next tee pad.
@discdaniel0
Fun course but it can get a little bit muddy and windy. Some of the holes are long and are in open fields. Now the grass is so tall that if your disc goes In it, it is almost impossible to find it. I lost a disc at this course.
@kalvinchimeberg
Holes 8 and 9 are VERY WET by baskets. Hole 9 basket is inaccessible
@danieloddo
Great course for fun! Thank you North Gate Community- love the scriptures too! … Hole 6 might benefit on a revision (possibly, cut one tree down to open initial drive, but with a “Mando” to force a right-bank- maybe slide back further). … Basket 9’s base was the under water (early April 2024). Hole 1’s throw into wind added “strokes” early.
@brokenwing0016
Don't let the length of the short holes fool you. One is a 40x40 island and another one is a tight gap off the tee that a kick loses you in brutal thorns. Fun course with a variety of shot shapes. Teepads werent bad dry but I imagine could be sketchy if they are wet based on previous rubber tees I've played.
@josiahhitstrees
Fun course, gives off Shore Winds vibes. The rough can be pretty brutal though. Don’t bring green discs!
@phil12
Small short course that is friendly for beginners but still can challenge more experienced players.
