Challenging & Fun putter/mid range course. Don’t let the shot holes fool you. Lost 2 discs immediately on 1 & 2, did not find them. Whoever finds them, enjoy. They were brand new.
@theben
Can easily hit other players, but the playground is nice for bringing the kids. Somehow enough unkept brush and ferns for you to lose your discs on sub-200 ft holes.
@bizarrobigbass
Very fun course. Beginner friendly, well maintained and easy to navigate. One basket is messed up though.

Visited Chester for the first time today. Been all over CT and here's my review. As a intermediate player only a year into this great sport, and a avid fan of the culture I try to give every course a fair and reasonable review based on my experience and overall vibe. But, I always have to be realistic. I give Chester a Solid 9 on the fun scale and 8.5 on the course itslef scale (upkeep, design, tees, area etc etc).. Its a nice little 9 hole that easy to introduce new players to in the event that some are with you or if YOU are new to disc golf. We went on a beautiful fall afternoon, tons of leaves (which are brutal when losing discs), warm weather and clear skies and had a blast. The tee boxes are in decent condition but cooouulld use a bit of love and extra dirt to fill on the holes. Its worth noting that one of the baskets (I believe it is hole 5) is pretty dented and falling apart due to what looks like a tree falling on it but, it's still functional and didnt put a damper on our fun. Overall the course has Very Easy-medium parable shots. Super doable birdies or even eagles as long as you can follow your line and finish with good putts. Most if not ALL the shots are straight ahead of the Tee Boxes...but.....there's curves in the tree lineage, or little humps or tree obstacles in the way which makes some "seem" a bit tricky due to line of site loss. Id say its pretty begginer friendly. All the tee boxes have extremely easy to read maps, good qaulity weather proof material for the signage, info on how you should approach and whats in the way, and when you finish a hole it always ends up right next to the following tee box or near by so you can't really get lost. Very flat, non mountainous course with quik replayability back to back. We did three 9 hole games in under 2 and a half hours and it was our first time. We played teams so the session went fairly quik, mistakes were not as hefty as teammates could redeem a bad throw, and our friendly competiton made for nice matches with close scores. If it's your first time going, there is a big chance that you'll do the course once, and say "Awww man, lets run it back real quik" with your mind set on doing a little bit better than last time or getting redemption on what should've been easy birdies. The course designer utilized a small amount of space VERY well and I'd visit again 100%. Don't expect a pro shop or anything like that as this is located in a small towns family friendly park. But, within less than a mile of the park there is a beautiful village of shops, eateries, package stores, and mom and pops store fronts that could make for a wonderful post or pregame activity or even date. Thumbs up from me.
@jarretgersh
Getting overgrown. The tees all have divots in them and I saw a ton of poison ivy. Basket 5 is falling apart. Just doesn't seem like anyone's cares for the course.
@danielle6
A bit overgrown. Holes are all relatively short. Could be better with a bit more maintenance to the teepads and thick weeds. The shots feel a little forced since they are working with a small area
@cgamble
Fairways overlap at points, dangerous!
@billyfoto
A very good course for beginners could use some maintenance after all the rain whole fives basket must’ve had a tree branch fall on it and bent it still playable would bump up the rating if the maintenance upkeep was better
@inkman
Could use better tee pads. Fun little course though. Great for beginners.
@huantar
Overall solid 9 hole
@chiggy2112
Cute and short, a kid from the park nearby peed on a tree, which made hole 9 uncomfortable
@datamonster
Great beginner course. It’s wooded with some elevation. Very happy I stopped and played a few rounds.
@danielpulis
Great little 9 hole course. Amazing course for safari golf as well. (Hence the 5 star shot shape rating)
@discretion
Excellent course to learn on. Was casually playing with my wife and baby and was never more than 600 feet from the car.
@discgolfphoenix
Course remains in solid condition since I last saw it in 2020. The tee pads need to be re-graded as they are gravel. 1 of the few flaws of the course. Needs rubber mats or turf, something. Many Ace runs. The 9 hole layout is great for a quick play and gives the option to play 9 or 18 and stop at the car for items. History: Hole 9/18 is overtop the ruins of the original Chester High School. Great course to work on technical aspects of your game.
@dabagger
A little cramped, and some of the fairways don't make much sense. But nicely maintained and a fun course, especially for newer players.
