We'll maintained and beautiful views. A must play if you're in NC.

This is a beautiful area with a great design. The current Boulders only has 5 holes from the original and is mixed with the River course. The design is excellent, but on a first play it’s difficult to judge where the river is, how wide, how deep. I played it safe, but the one time I didn’t, I found the river. Many shots star from the woods to a wide open area, or from the open into the woods. The Boulder holes were the standout for me with some elevated tees scaling down the valley to the baskets.

Typical ball golf course. Not a ton of variety or specific lines to hit. The lack of directional signage is absolutely baffling. Take those stupid innova banners down and trade them in for better signage. - 1 star for use of only one tee pad and one pin position as well. Good and scenic but not worth a second round.
@cowpattietosser
Pretty views, we threw to the wrong basket a couple of times.
@carsontwillis
Really beautiful, and fun, I enjoyed the front 9 more than the back, felt like a more interesting design. I noticed there were not a lot of right turning shots, didn't have to use my RHFH very much. As far as I can tell there is not a bathroom that is always available, seems like an oversight. I've played more than 100 courses around the country including many of the DGPT courses, and as an overall experience this is probably in my top 5.
@mattmarkham
A very different style of play from the Gorge course. Much more open with huge bomber lines. I love the high elevation tee shots.
@joshschloe
Wish I played when it wasn’t sloppy. Everything else was phenomenal
@lornaholtz
Udisc is needed to find the next tees.
@jugglingfool
In an old ball golf course. Pretty but it is on a ball golf course so more open. But plenty of good use of the trees. I imagine it is hot in the summer. Many full sun holes
@camwintendo
Beautiful course!!!!
@benjaminz
5 star. Just amazing place
@timkeeter
The most beautiful course I've ever played out of the 79 I've played so far. Peaceful, challenging, rewarding, ... I was in no rush to finish. Will be back! This is for sure a destination vacation spot for DG enthusiasts.
@durant
Fantastic course, epic shots, great amenities
@banner56
The course is shaping up but still not as prime as before Helene. The effort is there and I know they'll keep improving. Definitely worth a stop for players at any level. Not sure I understand why they'd spend the time to cut an 800 ft hole through the woods for hole 17 when there seems to be so much space available. The hole is a beast though!
@jimmymhardy
Amazing course, my personal favorite of the three - long downhill bombs, challenging but rewarding holes, and the best scenery of any course I’ve played.
@walkerdixon
Best course at the best disc golf facility in the state of NC but summer time is not the best time to play. Grounds crew does their best but it is impossible to fully tame the beast that is the kudzu that has control of this property. You will lose a disc unless you keep it in fair way on every hole and even then some greens will take a disc from you due to kudzu. For the best North Cove experience come during the fall when the weather is nice and there’s no bugs or treacherous rough.
@wardencee
Should become NC’s top course. Great balance of open shots, elevation and OBs. To me, the fun factor on this course is better than any of the other NC top rated courses. Have played here the last two weeks, happy to make the 2hr drive. Excited to see the pro shop grow, also when they get a restaurant included. Love it, love, love it!
