This is a decent course with amazing scenery, which makes it sort of tough to rate. As a free course in a public park, it's decent. A little too open to start, but it gets more interesting as it goes on. If I lived in town I would be happy to have it as my local course. As someone driving from Portland, there are better and closer options... However, it's a fantastic drive, and the scenery around the course is so beautiful that it's worth it. The course could definitely use some better signage. The signs on the tee boxes are hard to read. There are multiple baskets and multiple tee pads often visible at the same time, sometimes there is no obvious next tee box visible to wall to. They just need arrows on the baskets pointing to the next tee, and maybe some flags on baskets to make it clear which you are throwing to. Truly though this course is worth it for the drive and the scenery.

For how much this course was talked up by locals, I was met with only disappointment. Maybe the high expectations played into that. There are a few holes that are enjoyable to play. But for the most part, it's a very unimaginative layout considering the land in which they have to use. Many holes zigzag back on each other so they share a fairway. One hole even has the teepad from the previous hole in C2, only 36' from the pin. Every shot is virtually the same, with very few exceptions. 280-320 rhbh stall hyzer. The few exceptions are either shorter, or longer, but still rhbh hyzer. And you're lucky to be able to see the pin from the teepad. So, first time playing this course, and playing it solo, there was a lot of extra walking just to see where my target landing area is. The course gets a lot of use, and I see a lot of families enjoying rounds of disc golf. But for me, this will go on my list of not worth the drive. I'm sorry if my bad review irritates you, and you take pride in this course, but good news, you won't have me around to ruin the vibe.
@mericon
Great course all around. The shots are fairly easy but the wind makes it a challenge. This is a course I'd drive from Portland to play.
@brosophocles
Very attackable, but a path-OB rule and a constant breeze keeps you honest and adds a fun challenge. Slight elevation changes. Beautiful views of gorge cliffs.
@joshschmidt
Fun course with lots of wind! The views are incredible and the locals were nice
@puaahunter
Well maintained park and beautiful large oak trees. Fun course, not too challenging. I assume there are “tournament Mandos & OBs” which would be good to get permanent markings for, or at least added to udisc’s hole rules. Some course navigation was confusing the first time through.
@thebrownwelsh
One of the nicer "park style" courses I've played. Signage to next tee could be better, no other notes really
@cbean22
Great course. Plenty of trash cans around the course. A lot of different approaches!
@mjolley
Great little course. Wind of course makes it more challenging. Mix of good shot options-not a lot of stuff in the way for an added challenge but fun and scenic!
@oakstersam
Straightforward gorge golf. Great views. It's gonna be windy.
@plstcwstlnd
Great course.
@jeremiahjohnson
Amazing course, could use signs to the next hole in some spots though
@parmcmuffin
Very nice course. If it is wet or windy, maybe use the layout that skips holes 2 through 5. Other than that, very fun.
@earl3s
Fun course. Good place to practice in the wind.
@andrewmohr3
More fun than expected. Layout was interesting with a variety of shots. While there are some hazards losing discs would be somewhat of a challenge (threw my disc in the creek on 6 but was able to fish it out). This course definitely needs some arrows or signage indicating the next hole, but it was fine navigating on UDisc. The wind out here is real. It wasn’t even a windy day and it was still quite breezy!
@bogeyjoey
Windy, locals said it was calm, for this portlander it was windy, fun layout with a mix of distances, open, straight, and curved hole layouts. Fun!!
@trailboss
I really like this course. Since my recent move to Washougal, WA it is becoming my home course, along with Leverich in downtown Vancouver. Wind can be an issue to consider. It sits in the Columbia River Gorge near Beacon Rock. So, check the weather. Makes great use of the terrain. Surrounding gorge views are unparalleled.
@salomoncascade
Challenging wind. Nothing too easy, but plenty of birdie opportunities. Close to the road in several areas.
