Definitely challenging. Some features, like the cliff to the right of 3 and swamps to the left of 8, feel like they are unnecessary. Will test every shot on your bag. Birdies are unobtainable for intermediate-level players. Current Udisc average is +16 (and that doesn't count the rounds where people gave up partway), so maybe some adjustments are needed to make the course approachable for more players.
@purplehyzer
Accurate layout on UDisc. One of the most demanding courses I have had the privilege to play. Watch your shot, throw straight and stay on the fairway. Be ready to play medium to high intensity for an entire round. Beautiful place to throw some frisbees. .
@dcastle
Nocki is a behemoth! A classic, historic course for the area. It's been through a lot and will need some TLC to get back to where it once was. But as for challenge, course design, fun factor...it's in the top tier of courses in the Mid-Atlantic.
@bhodges050
Beautiful course! Some holes have very difficult footing throughout the fairways and others require some difficult hiking/climbing. An excellent course for people that like the variety!
@zackaneckstein
Needs cleaned up on the front 9, and some better tees. Other than that the design is great and has potential to be one of the best courses in the state
@chancecube
Needs more signage. And mowing.
@thebigyellow1
Incredible job bringing Nocki back to where it was before the shutdown. Felt like meeting an old friend that hates you. 5 stars
@r0bb0newzap
Challenge at every turn on this beautiful hike. Thanks given to the dedicated small group that brought her back to life.
@rdye28
Great course, a little hard to get around. Once it has tee signs it’ll be easier to navigate.
@mrjonesz
It's almost one of the best places to play in PA.
@edesmarais
Under construction. We travel here every year for the last 9 years. We appreciate all the work being done to restore the beautiful beast to it's glory. It's STILL an iconic place and worth the stop!!!!!
@thefreighttrain
Course in good shape
@beejmc
It needs work, but it looks like it’s getting it. Played the available 10-18 and was really only disappointed with the TeePads, which are straight up awful. This course is long and technical, as placement off the tee will dictate your options. It’s not super punishing, but if you have an intermediate arm you will have to make a few concessions. This section of the course is far better than I remember from 10+ years ago, but until there are real and permanent TeePads, some signage and just overall the feeling of being “complete” it has to get 3.5. It’s in a State Park so any disc golf work done there is likely by volunteers, so thanks for what ya’ll have done so far. Keep going!
@hyoomac
Gradually re-opening after 4+ years of being closed due to an infestation requiring tree removal. Back nine is now open - and it’s playable - but still rough. No tee signs, most tees are old rubber (a few new turf ones), old DGA baskets. Some fairways have felled trees in various stages of being cut up and stacked. But this is the same hilly, long and brutal set of holes that were there before the close. Detailed review at dgcoursereview.com
@udiscbanor
Väldigt fin Fairway. Hyfsade korgar och dåliga tees. Linjerna är bra. Bara back 9 är spelbar men hela öppnas upp igen snart. Front 9 har mer höjdskillnader och vatten i spel. (4.1/5.0) back 9 men banan i helhet när den blir spelbar så kanske betyget skulle bli högre förmodligen.
@baxdiscer62
No signs yet. First time here, but followed app. Fairways are well defined. Baskets not very visible. Looking forward to front 9.
