About what you’d expect from a college course, great place to bring beginners
@deafdiscgolfer
Nice course to test out distance discs. Baskets are bit lower than regulation height. Long walks at between two holes. Would be good to add two more holes in between. Use UDisc to find next tees.
@sandcastles
Beginner friendly, low traffic, fun course, wide open for field work. if you're casual and score isn't the most important part of playing.
@kfoote64
Hole 1 is the only hole that isn’t completely open to the basket as long as you ignore the rough on 6-7-8.
@garrettoliver1
6-8 need to be mowed, blind shot to a 6' wide fairway and if you're even 2 feet off the fairway your disc is gone. Otherwise a fun course
@stargoalie13
Terrible don’t recommend, I lost my disc on hole 6 in the bushes. Didn’t play the 6,7,8,9 holes because of the risk of losing another disc. Probably had 20 ticks on me and got poison ivy on me.
@leeb2001
The open holes are refreshing and fun given the wooded nature of most New England courses. However, the teepads are not marked really well or even at all for some holes. Furthermore, if you don't want to lose a disc like I did, then you should skip 6-8, as the tall grass makes discs seemingly impossible to find if you did not throw a shot within 20 feet of the baskets. Furthermore, the walk to get to holes 6-8 is really long, and so is the walk from hole 8 to hole 9, neither of which I would care too much about if 6-8 were playable. I'd rate the course higher if 6-8 weren't so poorly designed/maintained.
@shubler
Course was well-maintained, grass was clean and short, but there are no tee pads, only half of the holes have signed marking the tee off zone, holes 6-8 were clearly not designed by a disc golfer as they basically have a blind 6 foot wide landing zone in the middle of waist high brush. Could be a great little course if groomed strategically and even lines were painted for tee offs.
@cramryan1
Holes 6-9 unplayable between flooding and tall grass. 9’s basket is in the middle of a lake.
@crossb1990
Good beginners courts. All open shots
@b3ckstroyer
Last half all tall weeds. Goodby driver.
@nater32
Baskets are all in so that’s a plus. Not much danger but good to get some field work in with baskets. Long walk but relatively fun.
@jhnnybgood
Would have been amazing if they had baskets in the ground when I was living in Stroud. Shame someone had to steal most of the baskets though. The remaining 2 are great for field work.
@locotiki
Fun practice course. Only a 9 hole but takes a long time to play due to extremely long walks between baskets.
@auntiepizza
Front 5 are wide open and great for beginners. Back 4 are a longer walk to get to
@matthewclennon
Awesome little course. 6, 7, 8 were fairly mowed down. Will definitely return to play.
@jamiequinn
Holes 6-8 pretty unplayable with waist tall grass and brush
@pdonovan
Holes 6,7 and 8 are a little bit better than earlier this summer. Weeds are still pretty high and deep, though.
@fltonh
Front 5 are straightforward fun well flowing holes. The 6-8 are a walk and a jungle at times.
@kingcallthe5th
Now that the island is hayed, the course plays very nice. Hole 5 is missing a tee sign tho.
