Neatman is a wonderful private course. I really enjoyed the use of woods and open as well as flat, uphill, and downhill. Tee signs were top notch as were the baskets. Tee pads weren’t perfect but certainly adequate. I was a little underwhelmed with the #14 in the world rating that this course carries. I think without that ranking, I would have been pretty impressed but the course just flat out isn’t deserving of a top 100 spot in my opinion (and a high one at that). I think it’s maybe between the 5th-10th best in NC that I’ve played and it falls outside of my top 100 out of just under 600 courses played. Would like to see more stairs installed on steep hills and some more infrastructure on transitions. Wood chips in places would also be a great addition. Would be happy to pay more than $5 if it meant more money went back into the course. Great job to the designer/landowner. They’ve built something really nice and I’m sure I’ll be back!

This is an awesome course. Congrats on making top 100 and #1 for NC. Beautiful all the way around. Such a fun course. I’m no James Conrad, but some tee pads are short.

Great course! Super fun! Amazing hospitality! Full Pro Shop! Couple steep but short hills to climb, but benches on almost every hole! A must play course! Thank you 🙏

We absolutely loved this course I highly recommend if you’re in the area you need to play this it is hilly it is wooded. There are some open shots but it’s definitely a hidden gem that test All your shots The scenery is beautiful
@bradner
Well maintained course that winds though the foot hills and several creeks and stream. Plenty of elevation and mix of open, tight woods. Blues off a real challenge.

Amazing course and awesome owners. The only downside is I wish I lived there. Great upkeep, very well stocked shop, signage, navigation, shot variety, and scenery. Perfect technical woods golf.
@jburd30
fantastic property and the course is very well kept, larger tees would go a long way for this course
@awstallman
This course lives up to the hype. Great shot variety, awesome scenery, good difficulty, and best of all it’s owned by some of the friendliest and most welcoming disc golfers we have ever met. Matt and Carolyn are awesome humans and great ambassadors to the sport. So thankful disc golf is has such a great community that folks like them are willing to share their property with everyone. Must play when in the area or worth the drive. Pro tip, don’t miss the perfect place to cool off on a hot day behind the basket on hole 9.
