Many those were near or around houses, others were over roads or gravel (not the nicest for new discs), try to avoid hitting parked cars. Other were over open fields. The par for the course should be much slower at least by seven strokes for the main one. Tee pads need more wood chips & had standing water in them, they were also too short. Interesting course to play in your nearby but not one I would go out of the way to play again.
@eliwhite
I’m torn on this rating. It’s a beautiful area and some really interesting layout and use of the space. But: Baskets are single chain and light chains. Nothing will stick. Tee pads are small and in rough shape UDisc has some pads wrong If anything is happening you can’t play because the holes all run right through the camp. And some of the holes run right past/next to buildings making you extremely worried about throwing plus gravel fairway
@mclarein
Three stars, only because of hole marking. Would be impossible without UDisc.
@evansbechtel
Pars are soft, but a nice course.
@jmgrunwald
The design of the course isn’t too bad but there are a couple of holes that were NOT designed well. 15 which is a par 6 but a dirt road for the fair way that winds back & forth that is only about 15 feet wide the whole way. 17 has a large cabin on the left that has parking in the fairway which made it impossible to play. 18 has the fairway as the main/center meeting area of the camp with buildings & people to hit. Bad tee pads and OLD baskets. Please update!!!
@dickdangle69
Awesome beginner course
@smeck6632
Great course, well maintained, lots of technical shots, changes to a few of the pars on the shorter holes will make it much more challenging
@sheepyrwar
Tee pads and baskets could use an update. Holes 1-14 were playable and enjoyable. 15-18 are tight and hole 18 plays through an assortment of buildings which we didn’t play at all.
@dparkent
Fun old single chain baskets, last few holes get tough quick. Mostly open to start. Several buildings and structures to narrowly miss. Shots must be precise. Tee pads need some work. Fun course.
@mangosteen
Unrealistic par 4's and 5's and the last 5 holes are down a trail.
@no1173
Good courses. The area is very beautiful and the walk isn’t bad. The front half of the course is mostly in the open and is beginning to intermediate level. The back half moves through the middle of the camp and the woods. There are a lot of buildings to hit. Holes 15 is very hard and 16 is perfect. The course brings you right back to where you parked. Overall a good course. It is a great private camp, so it is not always available. Spoke to a few employees, they were very kind and helpful.
@jgeiman
It’s an older course with single chain baskets but it’s fun and challenging! Tee boxes are horrendous. If you use them there is a high chance of injury. Holes 13-18 aren’t the most well designed holes. Very generous pars. I wouldn’t make a special trip out here. If you are looking to add a course to your list, sure. But it’s not a must play course.
@bgpiper
Front 9 pretty easy open shots. Back 9 challenging wooded shots with tight lines. Very short teeboxes, some of which are eroding. Some shots that take you close to a lot of camp cabins. Well-marked and pretty easy to find tees and baskets.
@wesleyreidsmith
Good course, just threw me off with some of the holes being in the cabin area. Otherwise a nice wooded course that challenges everyone!
@benkreitz
Fun course, more for younger players
@mcgregorfelds
Personal favorite- entirely open front 9 and woodsy back 9, variation in elevation, gorgeous scenery. Tee pads are short. Course layout is generous for pars (only two par 3’s on the whole course), and a few ace runs. Particularly playable during pandemic as camp season is closed.
@phillyd1834
This course was great for what it’s used for. A camp course for kids and I’d love to go there! Single chain wasn’t so nice on a few putts but what can you do! Glen Roc is the club and I played a fun tournament there!
