@johnjohn847
Its 18 baskets on a rocky open hillside. No shot variety at all. Teepads are complete dogshit. One of the worst courses i have ever played. Decent views though
@wolfknott
This course gave me challenges I've only seen on a few holes out there. But, here .every single hole is a challenge for elevation and landing angle skills. The wind is also real and such a fun element. I really enjoyed the course. As for lodging discs... we had six playing and lost nothing. In fact, we only searched for one on 18...a second shot, of course.
@nico18
Great course for learning elevation gain/loss. No other obstacles besides elevation and wide open wind gauging. It’s still a fun course for what it is.
@raygimbel
Snowy and muddy, probably normal this time of year
@gori88lla
It is what it is.
@toneyrayj
Could not locate the basket for hole 8 or the tee pad for hole 9, probably missing due to construction area near those wholes.
@aurkarm
Very open mountain desert course with a lot of sagebrush and very pretty flowering cacti. This is not a destination by any stretch, but it's here if you're take wanting to play. Course is shared with Mountain bikes, but little conflict. Tee pads are natural and very rutted. Signage is mediocre. No shot shaping and no obstacles. The story here is use of elevation and distance variations, which combined with the high altitude do make for a bit of novelty if you're not used to high altitude disc golf.
@grhbroncos
UDisc is very helpful finding tee boxes. Fun course. I liked it lot!
@adamnyholt
Overall, this is a pretty miserable course. It’s got some interesting lines, with some fun and challenging elevations. But there is no such thing as a fairway. Prepare to go hunting for every single throw. Hunting through dense brush and cacti and rocks. There are even some tees where it is impossible to see where your disc lands unless you throw it shorter than 50 feet.
@carsonp01
Terribly rocky, sage bush and terrain make it hard to find discs even when thrown well. No creativity in hole shape, mostly because the area is not conducive for a disc golf course. Would’ve been better off not being designed and the baskets donated to the elementary school’s course in Gunnison.
@noissac
Good for what it is… not much to work with on the property, but the pin placements make good use of elevation… could use more distance added for difficultly… maybe some pro tees would be a nice addition!
@mickybobby919
Terrain is challenging. The entire course is loose rock and sagebrush so footing is pretty rough. Great views and a good hike.
@perbe31
Out of town player, played all 18. Course is laid out nicely and has ups and downs, no real hazards to speak of (besides the construction zone and mountain bikers). The brush truly isn’t that bad and shouldn’t be a deterrent, as others have stated. Don’t expect to lose any discs more so than places with water hazards. Cactus could be a problem if wearing sandals, only
@jaredsledge98
Lack of tee pads and uneven, loose rock make for sketchy footing. It was hard to trust footing on big throws. Back 9 way finding is pretty tough.
@meownichols
(Out of towner review) Bring neon colored disc’s as there is a lot of sage bushes. Fun course but if windy pretty difficult to play. Lots of elevation plays. Rating 3 because area is heavily used by bikers and it’s an easy place to lose a disc. Also make sure to bring appropriate shoes for hiking around cactus.
@sprouseman21
Front 9 baskets make sense, the Back 9 baskets are incorrectly labeled. Also watch out for snakes.
@willcazel
up, down, all around
@dcholm
Fun course playing up, down and across hill overlooking football field. Some hole distances are off. Hole 9 has been replaced by recently constructed parking lot. Did not play back nine. Seems like recent construction has messed with some holes.
@clintonnichols
Wide open with no trees, but plenty of uphill and downhill shots to challenge anyone. Easy to find your way around with the UDisc map. Awesome views!
