We visited the resort in a family vacation. The course was on the property so it was convenient. The grass was overgrown, signage was not great. The property is beautiful and has potential but definitely could use a bit of up keep. It says pay to play but we didn’t see anywhere to pay. The regular golf courses on the property look amazing so I’m assuming this was just a little side venture for the resort to try and take advantage the ski resort during the off season.
@peck614
Full 18 holes now, over priced for what it is currently but could be more if they put some work into it.
@erehwon67
This course is a skill lodge that happens to have a disc golf course. You have to throw around equipment in a couple places. The 2nd hole is completely gone. Udisc and the course do not align in multiple places. No tee pads at all because it would mess with skiers. Flags are torn. Signs faded. Measurement is in yards which is different. Suggests a ball golfer designed this.
@dank1000
Tee pads are worst ive ever played, mostly uneven and dangerous. There was no hole 2, tee pad nor basket. Hole 18 was taped off and unplayable due to golf course maintenence. With better design and supervision I would be more willing to pay and play again...
@discolemonade
$10 to play not $5. Holes 2 and 9 are not there (no signs, tees, baskets, anything). Tees are grass, with no leveling of any sort done - some slope up, some slope down, and all different angles of camber - aside from having a tee sign there, you are essentially just throwing from fairway. They do offer course maps when you pay, but the tee signs and baskets give no indication of where the next hole is. It wasn't all bad though. Fairways were nicely mowed, there is a decent variety in shot shapes, and the big elevation changes on some holes made them fun. I wouldn't go out of your way to play it, but if you're staying at the resort and just want to scratch the itch without traveling to a different course, it is sufficient.
@ilikebigputtss
This course has some potential, but was not impressed at current state, especially with it asking to be a pay to play. No tee pads, signs don't all make sense, and one hole missing (2) while 18 is unplayable at the moment (understandable with construction/landscaping). Just could have been much better. Would recommend checking out White River or Alpine Valley if looking for courses in the area.
@vavy94
Good work out has most baskets fun down hill shots
@notmorgansg24
Couple baskets missing, well one was, but the other one was knocked over. Grass wasn't too long but could be a little shorter. Other than that it was a pretty fun course, just have to improvise for the two baskets.
@warhawkdg
Variety of shots with significant elevation changes as the course plays mainly on a ski slope. Some blind shots and tight fairways combined with long rough. No #2?? Not really worth the trip...but the scenery was terrific.
@powersurge
Decent layout. Grass pads. The rough can be rough. Definitely has potential. Not many courses with good elevation change in SE wis
@packman1525
Check in at the mountain top area by ski hills. $5 a round. Pros: Staff were very friendly and brought us to first tee box. Very nice views. Baskets were in good condition. Signage was sufficient. Short holes for more beginner level players. Only a couple challenging holes to make par. Cons: no tee pads at all. Throw from grass area by hole sign posts. The signs are in yards and not feet. Found to be most of the distance was not accurate on signs. Overall it was a fun experience and will probably shoot it again when board of other courses in area. Great work out. As you going up parts of the ski hill to throw.
@jakehenry17
Can be very challenging on a windy day like today & if your disc goes into the rough, good luck finding it! But if you keep it in the fairways it’s a pretty fun course!
@monker
Great course! No pads
@stuppin
No tee pads
@jacksonrad
Mowed tees and fairways but no signs. Fun course
@tommyb55
Fun course at a ski resort. Uses the elevation change really well with some really unique holes. No tee pads and had to use UDisc to find my way a couple times. Definitely will be back again!
@tannerjbykowski
Could utilize The area better and place rubber tee pads for the boxes. Overall, nice little course but a little layout improvement could make this significantly better and more fun.
@sockit6
Beautiful course, no tee pads, and signs are slightly sketchy. Overall I think the hilltop play is awesome, this place is worth the trip
@bobwiley22
$5.00 course fee per person. Fun course! Use U disc for the first few holes especially. Otherwise it can be hard to know which way to go next. Cool elevation changes and some really nice holes! I love that they put the work in on this so so many people can enjoy the unused ski hills in the summer!
@tyeski
Course is pay to play does not have any tee pads and has tall grass that is hard to find discs in everywhere. The only reason I would play this course again would be to practice elevation changes.
