Short but challenging. There were baby goats next to hole 2 cheering me on. Ya can’t beat that
@samskoog
Course needs a lot of love. Almost lost my disc 10 feet away from the basket on hole 1, the grass was so long. There are some cool lines and holes, and it has some potential, but overall there's nothing special about this course and it'a very poorly maintained as of right now, so I don't have much desire to come back
@hotdoghandlr
pretty solid needs permanent signs at tees and someone needs to trim the throws everywhere in paths
@claydg
I'd like to rate this course highly as it has great shot shape and variety, but the upkeep is non-existent and a big detriment. Very overgrown and briars in every green and all rough. At least there are no mosquitoes.
@noahhyman
Brand new course that is a bit raw still, but that is to be expected given the fairways were cut out of the woods. All but a few holes are under 300ft but the shot variety and technical (but) fair fairways make up for it! Course uses the property well and has a lot of potential.
@tbriceno
It's a great course, but the build out was never finalized and the undergrowth is coming up faster than players can beat it down
@phmothergoose
Course is good to play for first time. I did get confused a little on the transfer from I think 11 to 12 or 13 (by the bridge). I also feel that 16 could be a part 4 due to lack of fairway and trees. There were also a few short holes that were filler holes as well. Overall I enjoyed the course and I will be back.
@mattwoodie
This course has potential! The course has one of the biggest parking lots I’ve ever saw for a disc golf course (thanks to the soccer fields right beside the course) and has a very nice bathroom/picnic area 200 feet away from hole one as well. If these fairways had more love with some simple maintenance and the Par on some of the holes were changed this course would be up there for Statesville’s best course. For example, hole 9 is a 100 foot par 3 and hole 16 is a very technical 360+ foot par 3. There are 3 holes that should be changed to a par 4 in my opinion. Hole 7, 13, and 16. Overall, a solid challenge for any level player looking to hit tight lines. I would up the rating to a 4/5 if the fairways and walking paths were maintained like they should be.
@inkrat13
surely hole 7 should have remained a par 4 and that was an accident changing on the card. and a few fairways need trimming bad. its a fun course but needs love
@rogerteeters333
As mentioned before in my opinion some of par 3's should be par 4. I think the course would be more enjoyable with a few trees removed at certain spots. The course sign don't come close to matching u-disc. Allow this is based on someone who throws 300' maybe on a good day with planets aligned. Some fun shots, some really hard( for me).
@discgolfcraig
Course will be fun with more clearing. Similar to Oakboro DGC. Fix the course map.
@speeedy
Course needs fairways to be trimmed, waist high in several fairways
@toddmoon
It's a nice start to a course, but has a long way to go. Shot variety packs a bit, fairways could still use a bit of work to give makable lines that are still challenging. Hoping for some improvements as they work on it.
@tanman101
Brand new course with tight wooded fairways. As it gets played more the fairways will get beat in a bit more. Varying and challenging shots.
