Front 9 is a snooze-fest. Back 9 is really fun. It does offer a variety of course options with multiple keypads and pins. And it’s up nicely.. but I do think it’s overhyped being the fifth best course in the state. I think the back 9 has people forgetting about the front 9 when they rate the course.
@pitterpattah
Great for a state park. Fun open style park play and some woodsy holes.
@mishkin37
There are some epic holes on this course. The front 9 are mostly open, and the back 9 are wooded with lots of elevation; every shot is either uphill or downhill. Unfortunately, the rough is so thick that I was constantly worried about losing a disc. I didn’t, but I spent about 15 total minutes looking. It kind of zapped the fun for me.
@beerolympian
No Taco Bell nearby but otherwise an awesome course. Would recommend!
@goosetav
One of my favorite disc golf courses to play in the beautiful and scenic northern foothills of New York’s Catskills. The exceptionally long distance and steep elevation from the 1st to the 18th and back to the parking lot were a little too strenuous for me. It would be a perfect course if an alternate shorter and more level course were added to the main one.
@joshschmidt
Great course. The orange and green layouts are very different yet use many of the same fairways. There is a long walk between the front and back nine so it’s a good time to make a pit stop at your car to re up on anything you might need. Don’t let the short distances fool you. There are quite a few holes with lots of elevation gain!
@hyoomac
Not for beginners. Too long, too technical (even the Green/Green would bury a Novice). The front nine is challenging park-style with beautiful views. The back nine is a roller coaster ride of thrills and climbs. A cart is fine on the front, but put it in the car for the back. Tee signs don’t always accurately depict the challenge. First-timers should walk ahead if you can’t see the basket. Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com

Amazing course I guess the only thing it’s Missing is a true water carry. It’s Probably more like 4.75 than 4.5. Def top Five in the state. Wilcox is number one for me but this might be number two due to the shot variety
@bigdaddy9
Played with snow all around…. Great Course… Might have to come back in the summer sometime.
@bobswaget
Truly well-designed course. Long/Short pins and concrete pads. Hole 1 opens up with a bomber hole and then has a real variety of short, long, backhand and forehand shots. Uphill and downhill. The front 9 is entirely open and the back nine gives you a romp in the woods. It’s a great balance. From hole 9 to 10 is a little confusing as you cross the parking lot and it’s a long walk back but it’s worth it.
@gburgatheist
Green-green- not sure about some 400+ par 3s for beginner/amateur. Great course. Great condition No fees to enter park
@scotia4444
Don't throw in the tall grass. Almost guarantee lost disc.
@beejmc
Back after a couple of years and it’s still a great course, but the “popular” layout is probably a mistake to play solo. Spotting might be necessary on a few holes, so either bring a friend or play from the short tees. The name of the game here is elevation, shot shaping, foot work and endurance. It’s not the longest course, and tees are generally close to the previous baskets, but the sun can west you down mid summer, so pick a cloudy day or get out early or later on after the burn. It really is a course worth traveling for, but it is in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared and bring a lunch or snack up. It was one of my top 5s after 50 courses played, it drops down into top 10 now that I have played more than twice that many courses, but it is a beautiful setting, great disc golf, and I’mma play it again tomorrow.
@skyy845
Unreal course. Amazing views. Teepads and baskets were set up perfect. Gorgeous open fairways with few technical woods holes...a must visit. Best course ive played
@actionpeacock
Great mix of shots between the two different tee locations and pin locations on each hole. Distance will be very helpful on this course but there are a few short technical holes as well.
@haybale
Great layout and fun course to play. Beautiful setting though and good mix of holes. Only thing holding this course back is it’s out of the way location but it’s worth a trip.
