Richard Nixon famously said about the presidency: "This job would be great if it weren't for the fucking people." Well, this course would be great if it weren't for the fucking wind. It's like a wind tunnel, but you can't really fault the course for mother nature. Overall it's a nice and uncommon treat to have a course in this area that isn't very wooded and you can really air out your drives. That is a lot of fun and there are many holes that let you do it. However it results in a lot of the holes feeling very similar. Even as a beginner the scoring felt fair - without the wind gusts I had several birdie chances and par chances on the rest. Hoping to come back on one of those days in the summer where it's 98 with dead air so I can complain about the lack of shade 😂
