@unbirdiable
Nahhh, Red wing black birds everywhere.. first 2 holes are fine. 3rd hole not worth throwing in my opinion.. 4-9 looked like chucking a disc at a basket into ankle high dry marshy grass/weeds. I hope they find ways to improve it for the sport’s sake, but honestly should relocate these baskets and course. Hey, at least they are trying to have a playable course, and way better than having nothing! In comparison to great 3-4 star courses. This is definitely a 1.5 star course, just is what it is. I’m sure people appreciate having it, and I don’t want to say anything negative really, just not for me in my current situation. Not a fan of getting stalked and attacked by those red wing black birds however..
@lewloulemon
Simple and nice. Wouldn't travel to play but it's nice to play the course while in Brooks.
@birdieswbrodie
I mean, a small town disc golf. Course is what you gonna get. Great views. But the baskets are absolute trash and putting is basically impossible. I don’t understand how you could even manage an ace here, even if you did hit the 170 foot shot. So obviously not a great disc golf course, but at least it’s something and it’s still growing the sport
@bestbyng
Nice Having a local course. I feel there is no flow to the holes. Would say the design could be better.
@jordiscgolf21
Good course to practice on. Nice long throws near the end to practice.
@nickjames05
The best course in Brooks. This is also the only course in Brooks. It's fine but nothing special. Most tees and holes are along the swampy lake shore. I played in the wind and almost lost a couple discs in the tall grass and thistles.
@axelolson
Nice walk along the lake
@beeballca
It was short but nice definitely could use the other 9 but was worth the stop I think
@mudstud
I am grateful for a course in town, but this is very poor. Hopefully they fix it. Just about rolled an ankle several times on the fairways, perimeter grass is unkempt. You better throw straight or else your game will turn into a disc hunt in the tall mucky weedy edge of the fairway.
@johnnybyng
First time playing it tonight. It’s a decent course with decent tees and baskets. Holes clearly marked. There is how ever a bunch of gopher holes so watch your footing. Hole 3-4 was a little too close to the tall grass. Would suggest a trim. I’m happy to have something in our town. It’s truly better than nothing and better than a few others we’ve been too.
@lusciouslukey
Fun course, close to water for first half. Terrain on last half not too exciting. Well graded on the pars.
@magicduck6
Grass really needs to get cut and so many gopher holes, u trip allot.
@rsagert13
Full of gopher holes grass is Terrible
@ehochhalter
Good use of the space, but expect to lose a disc if it lands in the tall grass. The chains and tee pads are low quality.
@brandonwiebe
Pretty tight holes to water and marsh. Most holes are a hair too easy, one hole is absurdly hard lol. You don’t end at the starting point, have to walk back a little ways. Worth trying if you’re driving through and need a break
@josiekeh
Layout needs improvement. Expect to lose discs in the reeds and weeds. A couple holes were fun but the course was mostly unplayable for my beginner/intermediate group.
@brendaterry
Quiet, Good for beginners though there are a lot of gopher holes!
@knully
Poor layout, very uneven ground causes walking/footing hazard, OB is waist high weeds within 5 yards of multiple baskets making it very easy to lose discs, gopher holes throughout and generally not well done, Will not be playing this course again even though it’s local.
@troyphilbert
Mowed now hole 3 could use a bit better mowing. Wear runners or boots bring bug spray
