@joshmorgan
Long, open course with lots of opportunity to throw hard.
@aricfoster
Pretty much a swamp. Cement tee pads would help. This park course is wide open bombers. Stay out of the river and he won’t lose a disc.
@cvhooser
Distance is a must. You really need at least 400’ to be able to score, but with 350’ you’ll enjoy it. There are a handful of throw it far holes, but there are mandos and OB that make it more challenging. Not to mention wind here is likely always a factor. Really different style of course compared to the rest of Michigan courses. Was my first time playing will absolutely be back.
@ajruda3
Needs tee pads
@tdanis84
This course is unique and challenging! The tee pads need more gravel or cement laid. Outside of the tee pads needing some love, I definitely recommend and enjoy this course. I played in February but playing in the summer would require lots of water. The course is about 2 miles of walking. Prepare to spend 2 hours or more here.
@luckymando
Long, wide open holes. Loose gravel tees. Poor design. If you insist on playing, park at the library next to basket of 18 to avoid the long walk when you’re done.
@jsnvrhees
I just played this course with a fellow amateur and it was a lot of fun. Benefits a player that can throw 350+ I’d say. Great for practicing driver shots. Lots of OB/mando if you play it. My only real gripe with the course is it has some pretty low baskets. Great course in the area to grab some sunshine or practice windy shots.
@n8barton
Offers a different course than any other course in s.e. Michigan. Yes, it's a bomber, it's a hike, it has many straightish shots. A complete opposite to willow, nice to have something not like the other courses.
@sparky387
Sorely in need of an update and basic maintenance. But I love it anyway.
@grassynole
I’ll give this a re review. Now that Im no longer a beginner, it’s not bad. Really test your distance here. I throw about 300-350 and was able to score but bogeys will happen if you’re not consistent. I’d probably be back more often if there were real tees. Expect to walk right under 3 miles.
@pagano
It’s just a bunch of super long hikes without much variety. I also don’t understand some of the par choices. 900+ par 4? 400+ par 3? No one playing this course throws 400 ft bombers. If you are, you should be on the pro tour. Not playing this poorly laid out course.
@andrewmandrew
It’s a great golf course because it’s the only one in the area with 18 holes. My noodle arm found it very challenging.
@williamladd
Flooded, river actually went over the banks
@marrick
Huge and open. Hard to get par unless your drive 250+
@msudek21
Very long. Long walks between holes. Very open and not much to challenge your throws.
@mvpjamie
MASSIVE course. It's really fun and challenging. If you are looking to work on your distance driving this is the perfect place to do it.
@j4thelefty
As stated super long course, a much needed addition to the downriver DG scene. The park is the flood plain for the neighborhood. A creek runs the length of the park and In play on almost every hole. Fairly Newly installed course. Small gravel tee’s. Great Hole markers. Rec tee’s would be a good idea to help grow interest In the area. (5 year plan maybe)Lots of potential and options for this track. Get out there and RIP!
