Cool course. Windy and long. Very technical on a lot of holes. Huge prickly pear guarding multiple baskets. Not for beginners. If you have big thumber, makes it easy. Most (wooded) lines have super low ceilings with tight windy fairways liked by mesquite and prickly pear. Glad I played it.

Be careful of the natural hazards here. Cool course with a variety of shots
@adepew81
Not a lot of shade. Great shot selection. Couple long ones. Cool "green" on 18

Great time visiting this course definitely recommend upkeep was great
@jbthunder
I thought it was great fun. Technically difficult especially with the wind.
@jbdiamond64
Pants would be recommended given all the brush & thorns on cactus/ mesquite. Large snakes were seen. Careful. Some of the longest baskets I’ve ever seen with a few short ones tossed in.
@soggy544
Awesome course. Bring sunscreen. Hole 9 is a bush whacker. Very cool course. Highly recommended
@lcdisco
Great course lay out some holes could use some maintenance cutting grass and over grown grass to see fairways ( hole 9 ,10,11) . Had potential to be better. Does have benches at most of the holes. No water when I played all dry course.

This is a course to make experienced players weep. The distance holes are pretty straight forward, so I didn't think it would be that bad as I got started. But the technical section can be really discouraging. To me, the biggest problem is that if you miss the fairway by a few feet it's immediately difficult to find the disc in the tall grasses. This is really rough since some of the fairways are quite narrow. Hole nine was particularly miserable. I couldn't see the basket from where I drove, and I had to throw over an empty lake bed with tall bushes at the far end. I ended up looking for what I thought was a pretty good drive for quite a while because it landed around some modest shrubbery. Even on holes without a lot of bushes, the thick grass beside the fairways can hide discs really well. Bring brightly colored discs. Also, bring pants. I Don't think I've ever regretted shorts on a hot day like I did today. I was surprised by the distance on a lot of these holes. Hole 18 was around 950 ft, which is one of the longest flat holes I can ever remember playing. Definitely requires either strong drives or a lot of patience to finish the course. If you don't have the Udisc app, download it because you'll either need the app or a good friend to guide you through this course. There are no markers pointing to the next hole, so I found myself looking around in circles several times. Overall, a potentially fantastic course for someone who wants a big challenge, but it definitely has the potential to be frustrating.
@willey640
This place is a designated disc golf course. Not a park with walkers and children in the way. Great place.
@rdeleon128
Layout is awesome. Challenging. City of McAllen is selling it so it's neglected., Rugged, but by far the best course in the rgv
@torben1708
