For what the topography that the designer(s) had to work with, there is a variety of shot shapes required; two island homes, short, long, anhyzer and hyzer mandos. I like that you can play the par 4s as is or play them as two shorter par 3s, depending on your ability or mood. Someone was out sweeping the tee pads when I arrived, which was also the case at Washoe Lake a couple of days ago. The club really does take pride in the area courses. That said, a couple of nitpicks; two basket placements were incorrect on UDisc and one next tee indicator was not correct on a basket so someone moved basket placements, but did t do everything else involved in that task. Also, there is a lot of broken glass, which to be fair would be a Herculean task to remove.
@rigging
Very nice course, good mando's to make an interesting
@hergiehaus127
Had to stop mid round due to the heat, no heat exhaustion needed. We’ll come back another morning to play 11-18
@mattwangan921
Mando’s are very awkwardly placed and the wind is brutal.
@itsyeboinacho
Needs markers to show where next tee boxes are.
@linkken58
Outstanding desert course with lots of variety and challenges! Windy, windy, windy, in the afternoon.
@archarchey
Beautiful course with amazing shots, variety, challenging and unique islands in the sage. Very difficult but worth every step!
@dankestwand
So much glass on the ground. Not very cart friendly either.
@orionh
Lots of grass stickers. Very dry. Nice tees and signs.
@seantub25
Good use of mandos/ob for an open setting.
@devind33
Came from out of town. Fun course, we’ll set up with out of bounds and Mandi’s to make it more difficult. Easy to find poorly thrown discs. Will play again when in town
@brianvk
Signs designating drop zones and “B” tees are a nice new touch. Turns out we had been playing the wrong tees in a couple of “Bs”! 😃
@atayteetaylor
Great course
@crushkid
It’s still a desert course but I love the little bit of technicality the ob and mandos add.
@austin775
They did an AWESOME job with this course. The mandos and OB really make for fun shot shaping and finesse
@renojenkins
Super technical, lots of O.B and mandos, best tee pads iv seen.
