Challenging to move from one hole to the next due to canyons. Several times you have to walk through a fairway to get to your next hole. No shade, so wear a hat and bring plenty of water! No signage, but UDisc tee pads/baskets are accurate. Be prepared for your bag and discs (and you, frankly) to get dusty, but it’s a sweet, challenging course with amazing views!
@silveraydo
Definitely not a beginner course! But if you love golf with views and really cool shots this course is awesome. Bring your hiking boots and extra water.
@danbarker
Have water, be ready to go!
@duckydoo
Advanced distance control required. Many Island style greens extremely punishing missed putts. Vagabond camp on hole 8 green. Prepare for wind. I’d skip it and go to Snooks instead.
@triston2013
Pros: Fun shot selection, good tee boxes, tough but fun design. Cons: very long course. Lots of walking. Hard to find next hole unless you use udisc, very tough walking conditions. Had a ton of fun playing and this is a very cool course to play. Come prepared to walk with good shoes especially in the heat in the summer. Use udisc to find holes because there is no signage for next tee boxes. One homeless camp near basket of hole 8.
@marciniak1
Played after a little rain and all of that dusty dirt had turned to thick mud. Not exactly a well thought out course, almost no signage, and tons of trash.
@lucashut
Only come here if you have very bright discs, park is not really maintained and you probably will loose some discs. There is absolutely 0 signage or maps, and no bridges across the creek. Other than that it's a great walk with some really long shots.
@snowman82
Rough terrain and easy to lose your disc on the back 9. Great course though!
@rigov6
Course had great views and fun shot variety. Some trimming for a clearer landing zone on 15 would be great otherwise it’s easy to lose your discs. While Udiscs was great to find teepads, signs at teepads and clearer directions to the next teepad would make this fun but punishing course so much more efficient to get through!
@bmoney3599
Beautiful course through the moonscape. Not easy, most holes require accurate ~300 ft drives to shoot par or better. Not sure how fun it would be in spring with higher water and bugs, had some trouble recovering bad drives even in late September. Feel like this course is pretty underrated compared to other courses in the area.
@calebruter
The flow of the course is pretty bad, lots of up and down between holes and walking through overgrown river areas. I feel like the course design could have been thought out more to better use the landscape and distance provided by the area. Not a terrible course but there is a lot of room for improvement.
@grantsrc
Full disclosure, I am an intermediate player from out of town and have never played a course this style before. Without this app, there's absolutely no way I would have been able to find my way around most of this course. There's absolutely zero signage. Lots of elevation changes as well. Some very Steep inclines and decline to make your way around the course . There are a few water crossings that have very little in the way of bridges or anything. I stopped playing because I only brought a few discs and I don't throw super long and some holes required more distance off the tee than what I'm able to throw. There are some cool views but I wouldn't recommend this course.
@jboogie89
Dear god … tee signs might help but I quit on 8 after losing two I just realized I loved … who ever finds the west side seer… enjoy it
@scottmjr10
Course is definitely local favorite like myself but only one basket location on every hole there 1 tier chain baskets and no trash cans or signs
@cjfox1
It's a fun course despite being in pretty rough condition. Could be a great course with some work!
@brandonrog91
Excellent layout, fun holes if you know where to look for your disc or have a spotter. Very muddy usually.
