@gshammaster
I think this is great course. I think it has some long positions that are just plain silly.
@jdogg884him
Pretty tough lines but lots of fun and a good mix of shots and great use of property.
@alzi1980
Some arrows in basket would be great cheap way to help with way finding!
@zipdubs
The first half of the course didn't have good next tee signs, but the back 9 was very well marked. Keep to udisc to follow the front 9.
@benrohl
Excellent. Nice wooded course, great shot variety and elevation changes. Hope to be back soon.

Mastin Lake is a great course for shot shaping. You’ll be throwing uphill, downhill, and through varying doglegs. The first 6 holes are a great warm up, but the elevation ramps up, and is unrelenting until hole 18. Pin distances (longs) are appropriately balanced for the high level of accuracy that this course requires. There’s a mix of newer Innova baskets and older baskets that are reliable catchers. You’ll see large concrete tee boxes and benches throughout. I especially enjoyed the two holes with sweeping mandos that had me ripping my overstable approach discs off the tees (holes 10, 12). The highlight of the course is throwing downhill on holes 14 and 17. I don’t recommend this course for casuals or beginners. If you get a bad drive off the tee, it’ll be a tough scramble for par. It’s hard to actually lose your discs out there, but you can easily burn a lot of time looking for them. Bring throwing putters, midranges, and fairway drivers of different stabilities so that you can confidently navigate this course.

Wouldn’t play again, tee signs are about as accurate as Helen Keller pointing into the dark, tee pads meh. Overgrown

Putter/Mids score best! Technical wooded course. Great variety of shots. Def will make your game better. Baskets catch well😎 FYI- pass 17tee to 12s Tee. Beautiful hole 17 bait you to play it and have to walk back up to 12😁

OATS!
@cadewilliams
Not sure that most of the new pin positions are improvements or not. They are for significantly more difficult. Newer plays will have a harder time.
@dadde0
Nice course. Wooded and technical. VERY unforgiving if you get off the path. Thick underbrush & a veritable cornucopia of Poison Ivy awaits!
@brandosolo
Throw bright colored discs! Trees, leaves, and hills! Tight lines! Well marked holes and layout. Old disc catcher baskets need upgraded.
@jmccolpin
5 new pin placements make for more of a challenge, which is great for the game. Course is well maintained, rough is rough, so stay in the fairway.
