I came into this course expecting a championship-level layout and one of the top 10 courses in Virginia, but instead had one of the most frustrating rounds of my disc golf career. About a third of the holes were either underwater or heavily obstructed, making play difficult and unpredictable. The back 9 offers some big bomber fairways, but they’re paired with below-average tee boxes and long, tiring walks between holes. The layout feels overly complicated, with 4 to 5 baskets per hole, making it nearly impossible to play as intended without walking the entire course first to figure it out—this is a prime example where less would have been more. I can see how locals who play here regularly wouldn’t struggle as much, but for new players not so hot. Also only 2-3 memorable holes and a bunch of fillers

Beautiful property! Course is incredibly challenging with a tight woods 9 followed by a big distance finishing stretch. Course is fairly confusing to follow at first because it's a safari layout but definitely a must play!
@scottpguth
The tee signs here are easily the best I’ve ever seen. So informative. And funny! These should be the gold standard. But ultimately tee signs don’t make good golf courses…good holes do! And this course has plenty of those. Really squeezed a lot out of a relatively boring property. Feels like only the lack of elevation change and epic holes keeps this course from being 5 stars.
@carsonj
Best tee pads ever, worst gnats ever bring bug spray
@padbaney
I love the hole design but it feels like they have too much going on at the same time. Many of the same holes share common tee boxes, baskets, and fairways. If this place was busy it would be dangerous.
@jtnorton
It just too much for an amature
@strainor
Very fun course with tight and professional level lines. Only downside is there are so many baskets that it’s hard to know where you’re going if it’s your first time playing
@adamfields
The layouts are too confusing. Could be a very fun course if it was a bit more simple, some great shots good variation between woods and open but like I said too confusing multiple tee boxes to multiple baskets for the same holes that are different holes on a different layout it’s all a lot to take.
@csgwartney
It’s nice, it feels like a little off but idk how to explain it. I just thought much of the course was very confusing to find Tees and UDisc was not always accurate on their location.
@mattalbaniel
This place has the potential to be amazing! There are just way too many layouts. There should be 2 layouts at most. At the very least, the baskets should be different colors. Having too many baskets to look at and not knowing where I was going exactly without looking at UDisc really took away from the experience.
@sweetjenevieve
The flow of the course was easy and perfect pace, BRING WATER
@freezypop
If I could do a 4.8 I would! Some benches and a communal area would push it even further. The views of the Appalachian are fantastic and the shot shaping and difficulty is truly gold level!
@tylergeorge18
Tough pro level course!
@briandejean
Amazing, amazing course. Obviously it’s really long, so you need an arm, but so much fun. Some high risk/high reward situations that make strategy important. New favorite course.
@biggiesweats
Great course to test your game on. Nice long shots and great wooded holes. First time here may be a bit of struggle to find some tee pads, but once you figure it out it’s great.
@jkelly965
Challenging course but nothing stands out other than how long it is. A lot of overlap with the other 2 courses on the complex and would rather play them if given the choice.
@anthonyscolaro
Course has amazing layouts all concrete pads all innova disc catchers. Definitely worth playing. Getts better every year
