The front 12 holes are pretty solid from a shot variety, fun, and challenge perspective. However, the danger to players and pedestrians throughout the course, and particularly the last 6 holes absolutely tank anything nice I can say about this course. Every hole on the last 6 and several holes on the first 12 bring the popular pedestrian path significantly in to play. Multiple holes have dangerous parallel fairways in the line of the tee shots with no protrection. Many of the long tee and pin combinations are entirely unreachable for all except players at the top 1% of distance. Even the shorter tees bring too many dangers and chances of lost discs in yards or the sewage stream. This is the lowest rating I have given a course. Unless significant changes are made to the design that improve safety, it will remain that way. I can only hope an intrepid individual or group who cares about this course can work with the park to make the necessary adjustments to make this course what it can be.
@joshporter
Cool course just with a mixed identity. Short dinkners and then unreachable par 3s to everyone but the top 2% of distance throwers sprinkled in. Still a decent one to check out if youre up this way. Some fun basket placements up on hills and ridges too that I did like!
@boehmk1
Good average course, but I would be sure to keep it on the fairway
@teemastertrace
Moved away from the Ville 40 years ago, so a round on the “hometown” course was a real treat. Good mix of technical and wide open shots. Some narrow fairways with both pedestrian and home hazards. Early spring round was still the season of the sticks; can see it being a bit more challenging under full foliage.
@bingyyisadisc
not worth unless you’re a local. tightest fairways in ohio, super rough rough, and unnecessary par 3’s. unless you throw like a pro, you aren’t going to score well.
@wjmonty96
A few short tee shots are very short and almost gimmicky. Hole 17 should be a par 4 imo. But other than that, a great park style course with decent mix of mildly wooded and open shots. Lots of medium/long holes to give full rips on.
@waggonab
This course’s bright spots are the few wooded holes it offers as well as the scenic views along the river. However, might be the most walking between holes I’ve ever had to do.
@shagerdorn
A more challenging course than people realize. Front 11 are fun but back generally follows a walking trail which can be busy.
@jaredmiller21
Continues to be challenging if you miss your line, good course.
@justdave
Fun distance, lots of path OB to navigate
@zmyracle
Not a great course. Basically throwing over a heavily populated walking path for 80% of the course. Not well kept. The rough is terrible with lots of stinging nettle and poison ivy.
@cthediesel22
It’s a walk btw holes sometimes but a real fun & enough OB to keep anyone honest. A very good course & all shot shapes.
@conley39
Well kept, difficult course that has a few questionable lines. Path walkers are frequently in play so be alert.
@mconfer
Upkeep has greatly improved in the past few weeks
@joels23
Great variety of shots, challenging but fair pars
@kiwidg
Surprisingly easy to lose discs.
