@utahsmoothy
I think the layout, and distances are great for all levels. Only thing holding this back is permanent signage and lack of proper tee boxes. This course goes to a 4 if those are upgraded. Had a great time and I will definitely be back!
@bsgillis
It looks like they are making improvements, but as it is, it’s just OK. There are two different sets of baskets, but not for long/short. It appears to be two different courses. The white baskets have no tee pads or tee signs and all the shots are basically the same. The next tee arrows on the baskets point the wrong direction half of the time. Some holes throw around benches, through basketball courts, and over picnic tables. They added a drinking fountain by one of the bathrooms which places basket 9 about 20 feet from a potentially high traffic area. Not well designed. I never figured out what the red baskets were for. Hopefully with the addition of the red baskets they will redesign everything and make it safer and more fun to play.
@cherrybowl
The course is outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time I play it. The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. This is my go-to place to play when heading to Utah. Definitely the best course for miles around!
@huntup
I played the Malad Valley Preview and the course was amazing! Layout was great with challenging holes and the tee placements made the drive off the tee challenging for all levels. When it’s windy it takes the course to a whole different level playing much more difficult. Can’t wait for it to have permanent tees and signs, once those are in its going to be a perfect spot for a round of disc golf!
@wyattseal74
There are no tee boxes. It makes it hard to know where to throw.
@superviper13
Decent course
@donjoses
Great scenery, surrounded by mountains. The park is really nice with some fun holes, but there’s no tee boxes or tee signs so use the app to follow along! Two holes are basically unplayable if there’s anyone playing pickleball (looks like new courts put right in the middle of fairways). Fun round overall and got state #35 checked off my list. 15 to go!
@lloyddp05
Strange use of active tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, and sidewalks as fairways. Fun long open shots but fairly dangerous if there’s anybody in the park.
@bckcntryskr
More than just an open field.
@thomaswhitaker
Really nice baskets! Tee pds would be cool. More Shade would be nice! But thank you. Overall a fun and flat course.
@dcharboneau
Mosquitoes are bad and no tee pads but better than a traditional park course
@jarbig
No tee boxes marked. No map posted. No course description. Good medium shots for beginners. All flat with tree and one building obstacle
@lingley
This is a great course for only being nine holes and in a park, there are plenty of mature trees that could be utilized in shot shaping. In my opinion the layout just needs a little adjustment, and there's enough asphalt walking path to throw from that they don't need to build tee pads they just need a can of paint with some stencils to indicate where to throw from.
@komrofske
I think you did a great job with what u had to work with even toom to upgrade and add more holes in the future. Should put together some sort of fundraising event tournament to help pay for the pad materials and signage. Definitely a fun little course for little malad
@dlemons
No tee pads or signs. Spent way to much time figuring out where to throw from/to.
@yebin801
Tee pads and signs
@theshub
This course is set up weird, like the person that designed it doesn’t play. No tee boxes or markers. Without this app as a guide, you’d have a hard time figuring it out. Better than nothing I guess.
@mwierda
Fun young course. No signs, map, or clear tee pads. Non the less a nice little course.
@thatkid
New Course, dirt and grass tees. unmarked, watch for park goers. no signs yet, nice 9 around the green belt. starts behind left field of baseball diamond
