The first three holes do not set a proper expectation for this course. I damn near threw my arm out before even getting into the woods. Once you’re in the woods, it is much more reasonable. I could see the upkeep being an issue in the middle of summer, but in May it’s not too bad. Mosquitoes were crazy already. Had fun. Tight, yet fair lines.
@matillmanjr
Good course for fall and winter. Currently it’s like f-ing Vietnam with all the mosquitoes
@sklagman
I’ve been waiting to hit this course for so darn long. It is simply PERFECT. All thanks to its wonderful maintenance and excellent design. Will return 100 times.
@radicalrat
If you are a bigginer or approachimg advanced I would stay away. First 3 holes are open field just zig zagging back and worth, so kind of boring. Throw your disc a foot off the fairway and good luck finding it. The mosquitos will take you down before you find it. Tee pads are a tad too small. One fairway is in desperate need of a mow. If you just play 9 holes be prepared to walk half a mile back to the parking lot after hole 9. I'm sure advanced players will enjoy it but as I stated, not for beginners.
@jeffw75
Great course! Well maintained and a great mix of types of holes. Challenging, yet a path always exists. Stay on the fairway, or you’ll possibly be looking for your disc for awhile. 4 more feet in the tee pads would help. Some of the holes should probably be Par 4’s. Love the mix of field and woods. Had a great time. Played it twice!
@noskoviak
Great course, one of the best in the Chippewa valley. Not sure how it’s not higher rated. Tee pads are small and signs are strangely positioned but the course was very well mowed last I visited. Udisc course map is your friend.
@brianphillips
Gotta say starting off holes 1,2,3, playing back and forth next to one another, why thats poor design to start. And for some reason some tee signs are like 30ft in front of the pads? There are a fee tee pads that just seem a little to close to other fairways or baskets, Pads are new Cement, just shy of 4x8 Rough is pretty bad here, so stay on fairway or have a spotter if needed. Hole 13 needs alot of work lots or raspberries and tall weeds
@naterbater02
Decently hard and very well maintained. Brush on the sides of the fairway is very thick.
@boomer9180
Really short tee pads, but concrete. very muddy and smells like poop everywhere but a whole Lotta fun! Mostly par threes and a mixture of open spaces and Wooderd.
@flashdrive76
Good layout. Like the fiberglass concrete tees for grip. Keep up on the cleanup of the rough.
@smudge
Fun and challenging lines to throw. Course has tee maps and markers for each hole. Benches and garbage cans are spread out through the course. There are brand new concrete tee pads now and normally cleared off during the winter. The rough continues to get thinner. Holes 12 and 16 are in the long position right now. The ground around the new tees will be getting leveled out this spring.
@rpolsen
Most holes are well designed and fun to play. Main drawback of this course is that there's many areas where it's easy to lose a disc. But maybe that's more a reflection of my skill level than the quality of the course... With concrete tees I'd give it 4 stars. Would play again.
@nickhowch22
Mix of open and wooded shots. With a good range of distance shots and shorter technical holes. Beautifully maintained. Concrete tees would bring this up to a 4-star course.
@triplef
Tough rough!
@douggiefreshh
Course is nice the fairways are needed a mow soon, and the rough is very bad. Fun course all in all but the lines are very challenging, I feel like there should be some update to some pars on the course. On a good note there was someone out there doing up keep while I was there.
@brentpreebler
Awesome layout! Muddy and snowy, but it’s March 19th so…
@mj1991
Once teepads get put in would be a legit course.
@baldymcbeardguy
Beautifully manicured. Easy to navigate. Nice variety of holes.
