Angry football parents because they’re watching their kids in the middle of disc golf course. Ran up to them and notified I was throwing directly at them and still got frustrated. Word for word “typically the park is closed in football season” Last time I checked none of these elementary school kids have started school yet. It’s still summer. Even if that is the case, didn’t sound right to me. It’s a park district.
@joshison26
Really nice park style course. Makes it challenging enough to make you serious. Wear grippy shoes so you don't slip on the throwing platforms.
@pcandrew
Decent park course. The ground was soggy, so bring waterproof shoes right now.
@rosskimbrell
Pretty good, straightforward, fun course! The pars are definitely soft on the four par 4’s - if you are an advanced or pro player, you should expect to shoot pretty low here! But none of the holes were gimmicky, and you could see all the baskets from the tee pads. Hole 19 is fun over water (and optional).
@awaningreign
Needs signs / wayfinding. Enjoyable 18.
@mattoftheseas
Showed up to a crowd of people wrestling at the tee to the first hole and got back to my car to find people playing soccer in the parking lot next to it. It's not the course's fault, but annoying.. Signage for tees isn't great, and there is a lot of walking. It's a nice course of you know where you're going and perhaps during low traffic times when people aren't gathering for events.
@erehwon67
The signs and udisc do kot agree. Many pars are different. If you follow the signs, this is an easy course. Follow usldisc and some challenging spots due to distance. At least one pad was way off. The alternate pads on the signs are not physically there in several cases.
@foghornleghorn
Not much here to enjoy. I don’t understand what makes the park district really drag its feet on this course. The course is an original for the area and used to be pretty amazing 15 years ago before the emerald ash bore came through and wiped all the trees out. The park district has done minimal to replant and maintain any similar tree canopy percentage since. The design is outdated and bland. The baskets are trash. This course NEEDS love. Why can’t you let the local clubs do the right thing and give this property what it deserves??
@grantyj
Your average park golf, not bad but not great. Well maintained and nice course, but shot variety and challenge leave a lot to be desired.
@bozekt
Open park style course with strategic trees to avoid. A few long bombs to test the bigger arms, but be careful of other park goers.
@domprov
old baskets, good tee boxes, some longs some shorts nothing technical
@dylanss
Need to be able to throw 400ft+ to be able to have a "good" round. Long, wide open course with trees being obstacles on about a third of the holes. Long walk in between holes is a pain especially when just trying to get practice. Baskets could use an upgrade but it definitely wouldn't be worth the money on a course like this. Lombard Commons down the road is much more fun than this course.
@madmanotl
Decent wide open course that plays a little easier than it used to due to tree loss. This course also plays through a busy park so there can be games and picnics that could make some holes unplayable.
@sbruce
Good condition, a bit damp on a few holes, not much variety after they cut down trees last year
