No basket on 6, no tee pads, a decent amount of people with suitcases…

Basket for 6 missing, no tee pads, but great all around beginner course
@almightychad
Still had some work to be done. Course is missing basket on hole #6. I would love to give this course a higher review, but it's just not there yet. Looking forward to what the future holds for this historic area!
@qzaqza
Hole 6s basket was upside down
@lcdisco
Limited play course is flooded.

This course is a solid beginner course. Not a lot of obstacles, some short and medium range holes, and can be finished in 30 mins. There is shade throughout which is nice. This course is attached to a park that's quite close to University of Houston. It's adjacent to a rougher part of town, so trash and homeless are abundant. It could use some renovations, but all things said it's upkept pretty well.
@wpaschal93
Watch out for trash and the signage for long course is with ground, so follow the map on the app.
@ppaschal510
Watch for whole and trash. Blue long course tees aren't exposed and will have to be looked for.
@cleo0paschal
Beware of holes & trash.
@sunnyd42
Not well maintained. A lot of homeless camping. But pretty easy course.
@dischunter
Just way too much trash and homeless.

What the course does well: Most of the white short tee areas are in the shade, thank goodness, HUGE PLUS considering it's super hot in TX. The holes has opportunities to be creative with your shot shapes, but most holes you could probably get away with a standard hyzer shot. The short white posts made it easy to find which hole was next. Grass was well maintained. Memorial and public park onsite is kinda cool. --- What the course could improve: I couldn't find the blue paver long tees, it should really be a wooden post painted blue staked to the ground too to increase visibility versus something on the ground. There is also no signage of the course map. The disc catching pins has probably never been updated since the installation of the course in itself, super rusty with only one layer of catching chains. An update to the pin would be nice. There are no tee pad per hole. The bugs are noticeably loud. There is some noticeable amount of trash laying around, unfortunately. --- Overall thoughts: The course is decent, could use some updates to the pins and the addition of pads. An official map would be helpful. A little love from the community and park maintenance to help manage trash would definitely be appreciated. If you don't have much of a choice or are a beginner, MacGregor does the job for getting your disc golf fix.
@ericbdrummin
Good course overall. Floods just as most courses in the area.
@timrbass
Baskets and teepads aren’t perfect but it’s a fun short and mostly open course
