Featuring Inova DisCatcher baskets and paver tees, this eighteen hole course has an excellent variety of shot lengths and shapes. Winding around the brewery property, this course has a bit of a funky vibe. The course designer made great use of trees and undulations in the terrain. Tee pads could be longer and better signage directing players to the next hole would definitely improve the course. There is a possibility of disc loss along the edges of the course - especially where the property butts up against the Colorado River. While I would definitely play Roy G, Lil G, or Zilker before playing Live Oak, this is a solid course that is well worth playing.

A unique disc golf experience located at a brewery. Some surprisingly scenic and fun basket design/placement. Lots of fire ants and cactus spikey things( I’m from Bmore 🤷🏾♂️😂) so be careful where you place your bag.
@gofarandfast
Great use of brewery materials for shot variety. Multiple mandos but realistic to make for most. Nice views for the Austin area. Brewery employees were super nice and have a helpful guide with flight numbers for the discs they have in stock. Saw multiple armadillos and planes during my round. Look for the basket up high by the equipment short of basket 2 when you get to tee box 8. Looked like they had lights for night play too. Several baskets near the brewery for an ace round.
@madmark
Great course. Very unique and challenging to say the least.
@shardy
Wow! First time to play and one of my favorites now. The brewmaster wasn't drunk when he laid this course out! The snap on direction to next holes are a definite bonus! Thirsty now, guess where I'm headed!!!
@orionh
Mostly short holes. Lots of sun
@mendoza19
No signs, map is weird, random extra baskets. Hard to find where you’re going and the uneven wood chip tee pads suck
@monty2020
Best beer ever and great disc golf course
@grizzlyarms
It's like they haven't settled on a layout, but I sure wish they would. Permanent tees that aren't ankle breaking mudholes, some correct permanent signage etc would be great. But each time I come they have switched things up, so maybe they'll solidify that soon and tees will follow? The beer is flipping awesome make sure and have a Hefe.
@stevehedstrom
So awesome to hang at Live Oak Brewing. Really fun holes for all skill levels. Fun chill areas and great beer all on site. Highly recommend to have a fun round 😀
@connorapainter
Chill, classic brewery + disc golf combo. Unlike Sprinkle Valley, which will shred you to pieces even when you’re sober, this course is simple, straightforward, and fun for everybody.
@xanerwin
Great chance to air it out on a few holes, but also some tight and technical holes. Unique layout with lots of brewery machinery in play. Very fun new layout with great views of the river on the first few holes. Wear pants - thorns and poison ivy abound. Well worth the trip - definitely will be back.
@paulo87
Great day out as it’s on a fully functioning brewery with amazing crisp European style brews, the course continues to grow and is now a full 18 hole course
@litothebandido
Perfect, just perfect.
@papaleche
With legit, beautiful tee-pads now (AND BASKET LIGHTS!!!), Live Oak gets a bump to 4 stars! Great shorter course that’s good for new players but challenging enough to be fun for anyone. Plus a dope brewery with good ppl who REALLY care for the sport. Hard to beat.
@kitchenchains
The new tee pads were a great upgrade. Decent shot variety and plays the most fun in tournaments when the OB lines/fairways are clearly defined. Can be confusing to navigate without UDisc or if you’re not familiar with the course. Can be busy on weekends with non disc golfers/dogs wandering the fairways, but a fun and quick course to check out if you’re in the area. Food trucks are usually onsite at the brewery, and the brewery has a small selection of nonalcoholic drinks too.
