This the course that Pensacola has been needing. A big open long distance boom boom track. The park is beautiful. I just wish they would have put in longer tee pads.

Lots of shots that require an accurate 300 foot throw to get a look at a birdie putt. I found myself quickly bored with the course. The park could have used a lawn mower but it wasn’t terrible and it was clean.

Not a bad city course, shots aren't very varied, gotta have a decent arm for the back with 4 or 5 holes par 3 360+....needs mowing and trash picked up that's all over the park

If you like 270-300 ft open shots, then you probably won’t be disappointed

First off, remember that reviews are personal opinions. No one in their opinions is right or wrong. I start my review always in the middle (3 stars). (Around two and a half or three and then upgrade it or drop it depending on what the course can do). So starting at ***, my first drop would be the boredom of skillful shots. The high majority is just distance and heisers. ** My second drop in ratings is the hole locations. There are many numerous holes where if you go out of bounds to the left, you have a 0% chance of getting your disc back. So although that already drops it down to one star, why I would give it a zero if possible would be two more things. The trash all around the course is pathetic and some of it has been there a while with little metal chips either from old cans or other stuff. You step on something just right, and there's a chance that will cut right through your shoe. Also the safety concern. I've only played out here twice, and the second time I had a few people walking around my vehicle checking it out when I was parked nowhere near anyone else. Overall, you could not pay me to play out there again.

One of the only open courses where you can consistently throw bombs in the area, the only thing holding 5 stars back is short tee pads

Lots of loose trash everywhere on the front 9, tons of ants on the back 9. This park had great potential but the quantity of trash was just unreasonable. It wasn’t just trash from a one day event, I could see plants had grown around some of it, or died because of it

You will need 350 distance to really score well, so bag rollers if you can’t carry it. Hyzer park golf otherwise, enjoy the bombs on the back half. Wind will definitely come into play. Shared space, mixed area. We came over from beaches early morning had place to ourselves, could have people problems front half if busy. Short tee pads

Grass overgrown, trash EVERYWHERE! Would be such a fun and pretty course if maintained better.

Wish I would’ve known that sooner lots of wide-open holes. Great for intermediate people or anyone with an arm

It’s a good course. I don’t have the arm for holes 10-17, but it was generally a good time. Tee pads could be a little longer. Felt weird starting on the loose dirt on the backside of the tee pad for my normal walk up. Overall, I’d play again.

Update 4/27: Rating downgraded from 1 1/2 * stars to 1 star due to pervasive “criminal element” and constant litter from the “locals” and vagrants. I play 4 holes on it everyday. This course has so much potential!! __________ Awesome to have this locally, with a few great holes but no shot variety. The OB with all the bramble and barbed wire fence make it nearly impossible to retrieve lost discs. Doing a modified 9 of 1-4, 7-9 and 17-18 seems most rewarding. Also lots of oblivious vagrants and/or residents of the housing projects walking through the middle of the fairway with 0 regard for the sport. Generally not busy though so there’s some great practice holes and room to practice distance but all the challenge is presented by having to stay away from the fences and overgrowth, or 20+ people playing basketball, or county commissioners parking on the grass during meetings…but it’s a good start…

Very average course. Nothing mind blowing. Did get to see a fox. So that added a star.

Full 18 hole course featuring short and long par 3’s with two par 4’s. The course flows well and uses the land in a fun way. The cement tee pads are on the shorter side of things but the area behind the tee pads are flat and make for an easy step up. The course is fairly open and complements the areas rather heavily wooded courses. The wind also plays a factor in scoring and disc selection. Overall, Lexington is an enjoyable park style course for all skill levels.

You have to control shots beyond 250 feet to score. The front nine is a bit technical and the back nine is pretty wide open and long. This is a fun course that is pretty challenging.

Open but with low ceilings on a good number of holes, even the bomber holes have trees and OB to keep you honest. Very cool usage of the sidewalks on the back to make a couple fun island greens. Long walk if you play all 18 but there’s a great loop in the main area of the park. So great for the west side of town to get a course this good
