Love the interest in disc golf from Lewisburg high schoolers. The course is a good effort and I think it could be a great opportunity to study disc golf course design (take a trip to Faylor Lake for inspiration) and make some improvements: - add more variety to the shot shapes (e.g. holes that turn left or right or S-shaped, gap and tunnel shots, wooded holes if possible) - incorporate trees and elevation for more visual interest and variety - avoid throwing over paths, wide open fields, sports fields, or buildings - include some shorter shots (maybe 1-2 holes under 200' that are more accessible to beginning players) - improve signage showing the layout of each hole and any shrubs/trees/out-of-bounds regions to help orient the players - arrows on each basket pointing to the next teepad - before pouring any teepads, try out new layouts and solitic feedback from players and the community (including non disc golfers) to ensure everyone is happy with a new proposed layout Overall lots of potential and hoping to see this student project continually improve.

Fun little course that does a nice job utilizing the space around the school. 4 left turning shots and 5 straight shots but no right turning shots might make for an annoying round for a lefty. Maybe some (optional?) mando poles could be added to make it more challenging for experienced players?

Course had a ton of potential in terms of design that’s been squandered. Could have had an awesome island hole , elevated shots , dog leg and other well thought out amazingly fun holes . So much potential for a 5 star design that’s been wasted . Makes me sad . Rip it all out and start fresh.

It’s a flat, open school course. Nine baskets, nine signs. Not available during school hours; some holes aren’t available during sports. Covers a lot of ground. Surprisingly long holes for a par 3 school course (averages 267’, with one close to 400’). Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com
