Incredible property to have the privilege of playing DG on. Variety of terrain from tightly wooded to open meadows with elevation and mature ponderosa pines. Challenging long fairways that require precise shot shaping, no easy birds! Two par 4s, one that's a true two shot hole, the other can be tempted with a tight gap 400+ with elevation to the pin. Tees are a work in progress, signage to come. Navigation fairly simple. Great addition to mountain disc golf mecca
@bradley49
New course with amazing potential! Good combination of shot shapes and use of elevation. Property is phenomenal. I’m excited to explore further. Tons of reservable camping on site.
@zflaherty
This is going to be a gem! Challenging shots, mixed open and wooded fairways. Bring snacks and water. Excited to see what this course becomes, the property is beautiful!
@dude9478
Fun course! Some amazing shots from high above the valley.
@jgagliano1199
Phenomenal course, we cannot wait to get back. Great views, great lines, very hikable. We will be back very soon. Thank you to the Butterfields and those that helped design this amazing new addition to the 285 disc golf corridor.
@plagueputter
amazing course. would put this course up there as one of the best courses i have ever played, and ive played many courses, such as wondervu, beaver ranch, and bear mountain. this course is a great competitor to them
@iradicpat
Love the course! Holes are well placed and can’t wait to see what it becomes.
@genekouba
Beautiful area, difficult but fun course. No cell coverage and no live Udisc map on scorecard, so download whatever maps are needed before arriving.
@calebartz
Unbelievable course, thanks so much to the Butterfields for having us out in their beautiful property!
@pnasty
This is a dope course, true mountain golf at its finest. Well thought out holes and great flow. Amazing to see how much work has already been done. Excited to see this course come along.
@putogordo
Holly hell this is a fun course! Great layout with super technical shots. Great mix of long and short shots. The camp sites are amazing here. Had the privilege of camping and playing the course! Jeff is super friendly and helpful! Thanks for the experience!
@djclimb1
Distance on #2 is more like 375’ per UDisc. Fantastic views and epic holes.
@coltw13
The first portion of this course was short and doable but the back have was technical with longer holes. Needs a better balance of long holes with the short holes in the first half and short holes mixed in the long holes in the back half.
@shooterderuiter
Do you like mountain golfing? This is your place. Strap on your boots because it is a little steep and loose in areas. Great golf course in an isolated area. It’s very new and I know that there will be a lot of improvement happening.
@adriecsu1
Very challenging for me. Makes Beaver Ranch seem like Johnny Roberts! Lots of blind tees. Forgot to download map before we lost service but we only missed hole 6 because we skipped 4 which is throwing straight up hill. After Google gets you to the barn it's another 15 minutes on a dirt road that has no signs indicating there is a disc course. We had no idea what to look for. Very pretty!
@drfrisb
It's a long long dirt road so bring a bigger safer vehicle. The course itself is flagged in pink and yellow. To find the "clubhouse" you stop 2 miles before at the green and white house and pay $10. The tee surfaces are currently gravel and existent. More time is spent looking for your disc than throwing. Bring bug spray and be prepared to spend 3 hours minimum from arrival to getting back to 285. Worth playing and a fun design. Location/gravel pads were the major flaws.
@panguin9
Very fun shot design, with some longer holes than most courses in the area. The dirt teepads are mostly fine, and usually there is open grass next to them to their from if you want better footing.
@mikeb1
This is a beautiful course that you should definitely check out. However, be ready. Make sure you’ve got your sunscreen, a good pair of hiking shoes, water and some bug spray isn’t a bad idea. Since the course is new, the tee boxes are dirt but don’t let that deter you, they’re in great shape. They don’t have their signage installed yet, so keep your eyes open for the yellow landscape flags. Those indicate the tee boxes. Follow the arrows on top of the basket and the pink flags. They will lead you to the next tee box. Be ready for some hiking. Trails/paths have not been established yet. Hence the need for good hiking shoes. This is a course I will definitely return to in the near future and I recommend you check it out as soon as you can.
@zferguso
It is 12.5mi past Beaver Ranch w/ a very windy road but soooo worth the extra distance. The pink ribbon flags are helpful for guiding you around the course.
