Lakewood DGC Rules and Regulations Before you come to disc golf with us, please read the following important course rules and regulations. First of all, please understand that Lakewood Country Club and Lakewood DGC are two separate identities. The name Lakewood DGC was established merely to honor the name of Lakewood Country Club, and Lakewood DGC is here just to grow the sport of disc golf for the community. We do not benefit from any fees Lakewood Country Club charges for disc golf. However, we are highly grateful for Lakewood Country Club and for allowing us to build our ‘dream’ disc golf courses here on their prestigious property. On top of that, the country club also agreed to charge disc golfers only a fraction of what they normally charge their regular golfer customers. As a disc golf community, the least we could do to show our appreciation is to be in our best selves both on the course and in the clubhouse and not creating problems for them, so we would like to ask you to please be mindful and polite to everyone, including staffs and workers at the country club, knowing that your actions on and off the course will not only reflect upon you but will also reflect upon the disc golf community as a whole and the future of disc golf here at Lakewood Country Club. Let us show them that we, disc golfers, do belong here with them. Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation. 1.) As to follow the country club rules, we kindly request that you wear a collar shirt to play on the course and no sandals nor barefoot please. 2.) During your disc golf round, you may encounter some regular golfers. Please allow them to play through first and stay clear of their shots for your own safety. We would also like to ask you to keep your noises down especially around other golfers while they are playing their shots and also around the houses along the courses. However, each week (Monday-Thursday), one of the 9-hole golf courses will rotate to be close from regular golfers for maintenance, which means disc golfers can enjoy their rounds exclusively and safely. Please call to check which DG layouts are available to play in a certain week. 3.) There might also be some workers on the course. If they are in the way of your play, please politely let them know, and they would be happy to move away for you. Please also be cautious before throwing your disc, especially into a blind spot. You are liable for any accidents or damages caused by your disc. 4.) All golf greens are out of bounds (OB), and all bunkers are hazards (H). Please avoid walking on them, and also avoid throwing high hyzer shots around the golf-green areas. Any damages to the golf greens will be charged accordingly. If your disc lands in a bunker, you may enter the bunker and play your disc as it lies (+1 penalty stroke). Please smooth up the sand surface as you exit the bunker. 5.) Some OB lines are marked by the sides of the roads. If a road is used to mark an OB line, the road surface is out of bound (OB). The other OB lines are marked by creeks, lakes, and concrete stumps (see each hole sign for more details). 6.) Our Tee pads are designed to be easily removable in case the course is to be used for golf tournaments. Most tee pads are marked with tee marker blocks or a line on the road next to the tee sign. Some holes also have a red rope attached to the tee-sign stand, please use it to mark up your tee pad. 7.) Mandos are marked with directional red and white tapes or metal mando signs. 8.) Please no outside food or drinks inside the clubhouse and kiosks around the course. We would appreciate if you could show your supports for the country club by buying food and drinks from them. 9.) For those renting golf carts, please be gentle with the carts and drive them carefully. The country club is generously letting us rent out their golf carts without caddies and drive ourselves, which normally they do not allow that for regular golfers. However, there had been numerous incidents of disc golf drivers damaging their golf carts in the past. That was why the cart rental fee was increased, so please…please be mindful while using golf carts around the course and obey 90 degree rule, which means trying to stay on the cart path as long as possible and enter the fairway at 90 degree angle to find your disc. Please observe a little cart sign on the fairway about 50 meter from the greens, which means that no golf carts are allowed beyond that point closer to the greens. 10.) Please no smoking marijuana or use of any illegal drugs of any kinds on the country club ground. 11.) Please help keep the country club clean. No littering of any kinds. In fact, if you find trash on the course, please help pick them up. It could be from one of our fellow disc golfers. 12.) Lastly, please call to make a reservation for your tee time in advance. Our disc golf hours are Monday - Thursday: 6:00 - 18:00, and Selective Sunday: 14:00 - 18:00 (Please call to check for availability) Thank you for your time to learn about Lakewood DGC rules and regulations. We hope to see you on the course very soon.

About the course

Welcome to Lakewood DGC, formally known as Lakewood Disc Golf Club established in 2024. Our first disc golf course was the first 18-hole disc golf course in Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The course was challenging with water, sands, dunes, and wind of the beautiful Lakewood Links Golf Course, just thirty minutes away from the bustling Bangkok and fifteen minutes away from Suvarnabumi International Airport. In 2025, our disc golf holes multiplied to 2 x 18-hole courses. Our Links DG courses hosted the first ever disc golf competition for South East Asian Game and was the home of the first Bangkok Open Disc Golf Championship. Moving forward in 2026, Lakewood DGC is extremely honored and excited to moved our DG courses onto the main ground of Lakewood Country Club. With 3 world class 9-holes golf courses, we have been able to carve out multiples disc golf ‘dream’ courses with big beautiful trees and stunning landscape, and we can not wait for you to come try our brand new 36 holes and more to come :)
