Its hard to believe it was nearly 20 years ago that the course was installed. As one of the course designers, it’s pretty cool to see the course still loved as much as it is. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped maintain it over the years. I think the fact that 6 of us were involved with the design of the course really helped create something that stood the test of time. As good as it ever was.
@therealchico
Wow! Beautiful, challenging, fun and maintained. I do think it’s kind on the par count but that is not a complaint
@bcnorval
Played Deer Lake just before coming here and while both are great courses, I prefer Deer Lake because of the added challenge of elevation
@khanfuzed1
played blue tees, pars are a little easy but overall very fair round. great round for advanced player
@inhughmane
This is a gem of a course. Long wooded fairways meander through the park challenging every shot in your arsenal. Absolutely beautiful disc golf course. Make a point to stop here if you’ve got the time.
@mercthejerk
Great tee boxes, great tee signs, Next Tee and OB signs need help. Please cut back the thorns on some of the paths between holes.
@lauried
Lovely and challenging course, excellent set of 3 tee pads on each hole. Fabulous course, can’t wait to play again!
@dereke888
Top tier course. Muddy.
@pseudodudo
lovely course // fairly mellow for the area but still some good elevation changes and tight lines here and there // just great vibes

The things that keep this from being a 5 star is water and bathrooms, maybe benches. But loved loved this park! Played the gold course. I loved the tee signs, the bolts for basket locations are nice. I appreciated the distance markers along the fairways. The tee pads were nice concrete pads (lots of leaves right now but expected), fairways were well kept. It was a great course overall. Some fairways could use more trees cut and distinct fairways but most holes are wonderfully design. I can see all the hard work. I really like the Mach X baskets, they are lower than usual, seems like short sleeves maybe. The basket are easy to see orange and do have little yellow tabs in the cage to show you to the next tee pad. We used UDisc and had no issues. We didn’t see any water past the first couple holes, so will pack for dogs next go round. Didn’t see bathrooms or drinking water near the course, but sure there is elsewhere. My dog found 10 discs. We turned 7 in to drop box and left the others on the course. The state park is beautiful and our dogs sure loved it, it has so many things to offer other than disc golfers as well, it’s beautiful.

Another wishlist course checked off. Well worth the drive. Next time I won’t use the cart. Wasn’t totally horrendous, but backpack would have been better.
@johnhess
Great course that offers every kind of shot shape with a variety of discs. 3 sets of pads on most holes and 3 pin locations add some nice variety for locals. Only issue I have is that the course has mach x baskets, which hate lofty non-spin putts.
@spangb
Course still best in the area 2nd best in state behind Faylor Lake
@cluteclute
Course is still awesome. Upkeep has not been great. And the midget baskets are annoying. Still one of the best. Needs a little TLC bit still top 5 in PA for sure.
@mahaffey511
Course is a little lacking in the upkeep compared to a few years ago when the pros came through. Otherwise this is still easily one of the top 10 courses in the country.
