Short holes with tight fairways. Some fun shot shapes. It’s a new course so the rough was very rough. Went on a Sunday afternoon on a perfect summer day and we were the only group on the course. Worth a visit if you’re swimming at the lake or driving by. You can get through it in an hour or less. I hope this course gets some traction so we get another 9.

New nine features deep woods, elevation and rocky outcrops in a beautiful State park. Length is mostly beginner-friendly, but majority of the fairways are not much wider than old logging roads. A new layout in a deeply-forested area means lots of wild ground cover for rough. Good luck finding (or reaching) errant discs during the growing season. Rocky ground throughout. Pay to park June through August. Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com

Super fun and short 9 hole course great for beginners and a lot of fun for advanced players. Well designed, good tee areas, plenty of ace runs! A few more next tee signs are necessary to prevent confusion.

New course! Fun lines and beautiful forest. Needs a bit more signage/trails to go from one hole to the next. Could be a great spot!

The main drawback to this course is that there is an excellent 27 hole course only about 10 minutes to the south. Tees are good and tee signs are good. There are good temporary next tee signs except at six going to seven. You have to go down the hill past the bathrooms and picnic area to find the tee of seven. The paths could use maintenance. Also, there is no GPS map of the course. UDisc lists hole 7 as a par three when it is a par four. All the holes are tightly wooded. Otherwise, I found it to be an enjoyable course to play. In the summer the park entrance fee is $10. Wilcox is free.

Beautiful course. Trails could use a little cleaning up as there are lots of branches. There are picnic benches, grills and a very large clean bathroom along the course. Good if you want to bring your family. Holes range between 200 to 300 feet, with one par 4 at about 400 feet. This makes it a good beginner friendly course but the fairways are very narrow which can make it challenging for more veteran players trying to get a birdie/Ace. I had to do a standstill on holes 2-9 because the gravel Tee pads made me slip on hole 1 so just keep that in mind. I would definitely come here again and hope to see a community built to take care of this place.

Overall a fun short course. It is new and so has some of the normal growing pains. I will play it again soon. Some signage needs improvement. I had to conduct an expanding square search to find hole 7 tee box. Also hole 7 should be par 4. 440 up hill and breaking right. Give good players a birdie opportunity and players like me a chance to par. Rate variety low as most of the holes are short 200 ish straight through very tight gaps. Path approaches many holes from the fairway side, a busy course could be an issue.

Brand new tight fairways. Super cool area of the park. Small teepads with item 4 base. Lots of potential for a nice 9 hole track
@toddrichards
With a little cleaning up of fairways a fun tight course

Needs clearing on and around fairways
