I was extremely excited to play this course after being so pleasantly surprised by Vulture Pines when driving through three years ago. Great use of the land with solid designs and a variety of both long and technical shots. I came on a particularly windy day and those winds were absolutely brutal both in open holes and more wooded ones exposed to the lake. Played after a rain and navigation in the areas near the lake was extremely muddy and slippery. Players with mobility issues should probably avoid this track.

I really enjoyed this course. I don’t think I would call the front 9 beginner friendly because of distance and wind but it’s definitely less challenging than the back 9. Overall I believe the course is deserving of at least a 4.3 rating overall.

Unless you're a pro, don't waste your time trying this very hard course. Extremely rough terrain, so if you do go, DO NOT try to use a cart. I will not be back to this course.

Great variety and views. Complementary to the course on the other side of the lake. Make a day of it and play both.

It’s a great course… had a lot of rain in area lately so some grass is pretty tall.

Narrow fairways. High grass. Rough terrain. Will be better with some grass cutting and upkeep.

Fantastic course. Really great design with many memorable holes. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s just going to get better as it ages and hopefully gets some good TLC. Definitely not cart friendly. Bring water and a snack, lots of elevation change.

Was overall good, definitely a bit challenging with some solid forehand holes. Grass is a bit high in some parts but someone has mowed a skinny fairway for most of the holes.

I was gonna give this course 5 stars until we got to hole 9 which is a mess. The front 8 is great but the back 9, while being way more difficult, is actually where the course gets interesting. I'm sure after some more work, Whitetail will complement it's sister course more appropriately. Still a great day of golf and worth the drive when playing both

I know they are still working on this course, that being said the thorn bushes on the left side fairway on 15 need to be cleaned out. It is a probable place most righthand backhand throwers will land. A couple of us got bloody legs and still could not find the disc.

Definitely walk the course before you play, front 9 is fun and easy to find your way, back 9 is pretty rough but has potential

Good complement to the other course. This one is still very rough in the woods. Not Cart Friendly. Minus 1/2 a star for Hole 18, it is dangerous. Many many people will have their disc go down that huge drop-off and then they'll hike down the hill. Slip and fall risk is very real. Cannot believe the city or parks dept approved that hole and pin placement. Only way it makes sense is if every tree is cleared allowing for a safe hyzer to the left. Lots of shots s here are near the lake and require throws that fade directly to a pin placed right at the waters edge. One hole on the back 9 is a legitimate 250ft water carry that you must throw straight to cover. Many amateurs will not have that shot. The hole needs an alt teepad for less skilled/shorter throwers This course needs lots of break-in. Will adjust review next spring after the course breaks in a bit.

The course is still under construction. In my opinion, the most I can give a couse that is under construction is 3 stars and that is being generous. No tee pads, no permanent signage, some of the wooded fairways and paths are still rough, but it is going to be a great course, when it's finished. It is a fun one. Well worth the trip. I will be back soon.

Course is still under construction but once completed will be another gem on Lake Pittsfield. Both courses on this property are 100% worth the drive
